We got this for my now 2-year old when she was 18 months. I am German, my partner American, so we were hoping for a screen-free "talking" toy that does at least German for a change. This does both, which is great! My daughter got into it when she was about 20 months, and now absolutely loves it, especially everything that's songs and musical instruments (she is now getting into counting and colors). It's great that one can adjust the volume, and my daughter can easily change the discs herself. Customer service is also phenomenal: we lost one of my daughter's favorite discs, and for a small fee I am now sent a replacement. They are super responsive and helpful. The tool is great for travel, for example when she gets bored in the car or when we are at a hotel and bringing many toys isn't an option (to keep her busy in the morning before breakfast). But she often asks for "Lieder" (songs) at random times of the day/week, referring to the device. Highly recommend.

Why did I not purchase this sooner??? It is because I was hesitant to pay 99$ for a kid's stuff. But now I did and I don't regret it!!! My child loves it, we call it "his CD player," and I love it even more that he has a lot of songs and music to choose from. I actually think it could work as a great baby shower gift particularly one of the discs, the lullaby, plays great White noise - definitely a great help for moms. It is battery-operated but automatically turns off after a fee minutes of being idle which saves energy.

Easy to use. My 19 month old grandson can operate. However, he is a bit young for the discs that have stories and songs. He enjoys pushing on the pictures and seeing the green light glow when he pushes the picture. I do wish it came with a recharger - it's only battery operated. However, I knew that before I purchased. It was quite easy for my grandson to change disc without help. I would purchase again.

This is a very cool Interactive toy. I bought 2 for granddaughters. The volume isn’t very loud-am I missing something? Even on the highest, it’s not loud. Has anyone else had this experience?

I bought this for my 16 month old son for Christmas and he LOVES it. He is able to take off and put on the discs himself and the ability to pick songs via pictures is great for him. This is by far one of his favorite toys and mine too. The only thing I wish they also had was a silicone carry case similar to the ones tablets have. I am always worried about it breaking the next time he drops it, though it is holding up very well so far.

bought it for my grandkids and they loved it. Kept them entertain and the variations of the records to play and listen is great. will grow with them.

We are a trilingual family and this is a great toy to keep our 19 month old entertained while exposing him to multiple languages.

I bought this for my gran daughter. It arrived on time. She loves to play with it

there are 5 different sets of discs. we bought it all. it's indeed entertaining and educational. can keep older children entertained while learning for hours. but our toddler child only loves to press and skip. the device itself, we can't figure out how to make the machine play all at once despite following manual. quite frustrating. but the great thing abt it, doesn't matter which way the disc is placed, the device will read or sing out loud correctly. the 3 second instruction to change the language or volume feels like 5 seconds. it feels too long. my toddler is impatient and doesn't give me the chance to change anything. Great buy but price is a little pricey in my opinion.

So far so good, my toddler seem engaged.

Was expecting the classical music disc but got the Christmas disc instead.

Disappointed because I was expecting classical songs to play for baby but got Christmas songs instead. We don’t even celebrate Christmas.. zz and you can’t expect us to play Christmas music all year round. Also the disc is so easily slide off by baby. Doesn’t attach tightly.
