1/2 inch, 3/4, inch, and the for the smallest sizes. Yes, they taper towards the end, all of them do.

Are they compatible with hand socket wrenches?

Yes if you mean sockets fitting a manual hand ratchet . 1/2" male square drive one end and 1/2" female on the other.
