Great size for a puppy (4 mos old) to get started and used to the training basics for off leash control or corrections. Starting to use for barking corrections and will eventually progress to command control/correction as he ages. Mini Educator was recommended because 1) easy to use and 2) the ability to start with very low stimulation. I have the Garmin for my adult setter (and will likely advance to that as pup ages and his instinct drive increases) but wonderful starter and training tool. Only wish the collar was a quick release collar (ordered a biothane quick release collar on Etsy) that I will replace as soon as I receive it. Vibration, sound and stimulation are clear and easy to use. Battery life seems to last. Haven’t tested the full range, but worked well 300 yards away. My trainers are professionals and I trust their recommendations fully. They have this for their own pups and I can see why.

I own a mini schnauzer and we have decided to get this to help us teach him to be off leash. It worked so well with him! This one only vibrates, which is what we wanted. The vibrations are adjustable, you just have to see what your dog responds to. The nice thing about the vibrates is that it doesn't harm the dog, the vibrations just kind of confuses them. There are 3 buttons. One is a short vibrate, just a quick button. The red one is a long vibrate. You can hold this one for 10 seconds at a time. The last button is by itself on the otherside which is called a "Tone" it basically vibrates the whole collar. This one is the last resort button. There are 2 types of prongs. One for longer coats and one for shorter. With our dog since we let his hair grow longer in the winter we do have to switch between the two. This collar has really worked for him! I would say that your dog should know your commands before you start with the collar, this is just a tool to help reinforce the commands.

Great product I’ve had a tough time setting it up. Probably more user error than a problem with it.

Having a puppy, especially One that is a breed that likes to wonder… This was an absolute lifesaver. It’s really important to understand that you can’t just put this on the Dog and expect it to know what the vibrate or the tone or the Shock means. It’s important to spend time with the dog and train it with positive reinforcement. The quality of this colour is great, I actually changed out the colour for a bungee as my pup has a sensitive throat. The bun you made a big difference, as well as the butterfly connection points. The battery seems to last quite awhile, I take my dog for a walk twice a day for about 45 minutes to an hour each time and I only have to charge the hand control maybe every other week and the colour about one week to one and a half weeks. This product has helped with recall, commands and responses throughout walks, allowing my dog to go off lead where she can knowing she will respond to me. Cannot recommend this thing enough!

This is my first experience with an e-collar and there are so many functions… it was overwhelming! Our dog trainer started us out just using one simple function, which was very helpful. As I got comfortable with that, I read up on the other functions and slowly introduced them one at a time so that I could use the e-collar correctly. (This was for my benefit, not my dog’s. Because I can’t seem to learn too much at once as I get older.) A few times, I have reached out to customer service for help. Every time, the representative was patient, clear, and extremely helpful. I am happy with the collar, and certainly when I see the dog trainer using it on our pup, I see how extremely wonderful it can be!! I’m excited to be able to master this device so I can get the same results the dog trainer gets. I’m pretty sure that any short-comings are based on my skills, not my dog’s. My experience with the reps at this company have been top notch. They are very customer-service oriented and absolutely make me feel like my satisfaction is a priority for them. I highly recommend this product and the company!

Honestly disappointed, I would expect that battery life to last more than 2 days. I bought this 7/2022 and it’s the second week of September and the charge isn’t even lasting 2 days now. This is unreliable and definitely not worth the money.

Worked amazing for training until the collar part just stopped charging one evening only months after starting to use it. Haven't been able to reach anyone about a warranty sadly & dont want to spend another 230$ on a whole set.
