Mini Mac (Maclock)
Bought this to follow This Does Not Compute's tutorial on how to build a Mini Mac from the Maclock. Haven't gotten time to do the soldering, but I did install the 3D printed bracket along with the Raspberry Pi Zero with minivmac running just to show off some After Dark screensavers. The screen itself is working wonderfully and had detailed instructions and drivers on their website. I am surprised with the detail from the screen as screen technology has improved in the past 10 years. Highly recommend for Rapsberry Pi Zero 2W

Great for Pi TV
Great video quality. Used with a Pi Zero for a tiny tv project and it turned out great.

Excellent display, excellent support from Waveshare
The setup guide on Waveshare's wiki was very easy to follow. I had an issue with the rendering of some of the colors, and Waveshare's support was very quick in helping with that. Now, the display looks excellent.

Exactly what I needed
Built a Simpsons TV for the wife. I was dumb and thought I could swing a tft screen but the refresh rate was way to slow. This definitely worked. No lag. Plenty bright. Used with a raspberry pi on the gpio header. Just used the driver's from the website ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Great screen, poor documentation
Purchased for a Voron 0 mod. If you are too, don't buy this one. Buy the waveshare DSI one. This one has the 40 pin gpio plug. It does say this but apparently I can't read. As for the product it did work perfectly. There was some issues getting it to display properly but that was due to software. The documentation could be better.

Great little screen for Raspberry Pi projects. See pics of miniature Apple Mac and ISS above projects. (my 3D printed enclosures) Excellent colours on the screens and pretty easy to configure on the Pi following Waveshare's instructions. I may try making a miniature Arcade machine, although at my age it may prove difficult to play on a screen this small. I haven't tried to configure the touch element yet, although the Pi does respond with a complaint if I do touch the screen!

I installed this in a pinball machine, showing video on theme with the game. The result is incredibly clear and bright! See "Dave's Think Tank" on YouTube for complete instructions.
