I’ve been using these Bates 2-Inch Foam Paint Brushes in combination with my gloss projects, and they are an absolute game-changer. If you want a smooth, professional application, the value for money here is honestly mind-blowing. You get a massive 16-pack that is priced so affordably, it feels like a steal for the quality you're getting. What I love most is the durability—these aren't just "one-and-done" disposables. They actually last a lifetime as long as you make sure to wash them out thoroughly right after use. They handle liquids well, and because of the thickness of the foam, they hold a generous amount of product without any leakage or messy dripping, giving you total control over your workspace. The 2-inch size is incredibly versatile; it’s the perfect "fits-all" dimension that works seamlessly on all types of work, whether you're covering large areas or touching up smaller, detailed surfaces. I also noticed that because they apply such a smooth, even coat, the product itself seems to dry more quickly and cleanly compared to using standard bristle brushes that might leave uneven puddles. If you’re doing any kind of crafting, painting, or finishing work, these are a total must-have.

I buy these brushes often as they're cheap and disposable. I like that I don't have to clean them. They are soft, but don't confuse them for being a regular paint brush. There's not as much give as a regular, standard paint brush. They absorb the liquid well, are very light to hold and maneuver. A tip I picked up is that when you dip the foam brush in the paint, only dip it half way, then remove from the paint and let it drip off. Don't tap it as it will cause air bubbles. I tend to use these for light coats of top coat on wood and toss them after. For one set, I can get 12 coats of topcoat on a piece of wood.

These Bates 2-inch foam brushes are perfect for painting or staining projects. Durable enough for smooth coverage, cheap enough to toss when done—my go-to disposable brushes that I’ll keep buying.
