These are nice and, the pin is sharp and thin, It will hold three inches of soft fabric. Pin can not hold 4" to 6" of soft fabric it is short.

These are really cute, but they put holes in my clothes. Obviously, I knew they were gonna poke a hole through my blouses, but it’s kind of a big hole so I don’t use on my expensive blouses. It’s kind of damaging.

Easy to use, looks lovely, high quality (I've been using them for 4 months now). I think the reason a lot of reviewers lose the pearls is because the don't press them *down* on to needle (don't twist them on). No, these are not strong enough to hold a garment in to go out running and exercising, but I'm a teacher who uses public transit ....and these do stay on throughout the day. Have I occasionally moved abruptly and strongly and one comes off? Yes, but it's rare. I also re "tuck" them a couple of times throughout the day. I'd buy these again. I wish they'd make some with just gold adornments, too.
