How often should you use this product?

According to the directions, you are able to use this product once a week

Simply place a Finish® In Wash Dishwasher Cleaner in the bottom of your dishwasher. No extra wash cycle required - Use during regular load of wash cycle.

What’s the difference between this and the liquid cleaner in the square bottle by this brand?

The tablets are recommended for use once a week and supposedly you don't need to empty your dishwasher when you use it. (I recommend an empty dishwasher. I followed the directions and there were stains on my pans that I still can't get out.) The liquid in the square bottle is recommended for use once a month and does a deeper cleaning. The dishwasher must be empty when you use it. (I ran a separate empty load after I used it to make sure all of the cleaner was removed.)

We are getting a build up of stinky pink scum. Will this remove pink scum?

Terrible smell

Did as per instructions and now all my dishes smell like chemical and re-washed them 3 times already and they still smell. Gross! Wish I would have used the this product without dishes in the dishwasher.
