So, you have a box that has to hold 4 long tile stands. A long rectangular space in which to store all the tiles, and someone decides a square pull string bag is a good idea??

Good quality. Great product!

QUALITY: a nicer quality set without breaking the bank. The pieces are well made and marked, the printed instructions easy to read and interpret, and the stands are plastic but solid enough that wear and tear shouldn't be a problem. Only minor complaints I have are that the stands are too light. When playing on a table with a very smooth surface, they tend to slide around too easily. Would suggest adding some type of weighting inside along the base. The other minor snafu is one of the stands was missing one of its end-caps, but this was brand new (shrink-wrapped outer box and tiles box inside) so it was just a fluke, not a returned item packaged as new. Avoid the third party (Chinese) knock-off sets, as they ship with non-standard numbers of tiles and poorly written (AI) instructions. Basically, if it's not from Pressman (the creator and authorized publisher), don't buy it. GAMEPLAY: this is an easy-to-learn and fun game. A mix of simple tactics and luck-of-the-draw usually keeps it interesting. The scoring takes some getting used to (points count positive towards the winner AND negative towards the losers each game — example: for players A-D, if A ends with 10 points worth of tiles, B 15 points, and C, 15 points, while D has none (winner), the scores are -10, -15, -15, and +40). This is is done because a full match consists of multiple games, so the individual totals can drop or jump quite a bit (you might be down 22 after one game, then up 47 after the next). What we usually do is play three games or "rounds" (each one taking 30-60 minutes depending on whether you time each person's play). Whoever has the highest total at the end, wins.
