SUMMIT...responsible solutions 50 Count Deer Ban Repellent Capsules

This is the only deer repellent that actually works. I put the capsules in small cup-like containers, fill with water and put them about every 6 feet around my yard and flower beds. That way the gel doesn't dry out too quickly and it is easy to keep the gel wet by putting more water on it as needed. All other repellents such as ones you tie on the plants and sonic/flashing lights don't deter deer.

First off when I was putting them out and poured water on them to activate, I noticed Fire Ants completely devoured 3 capsules on an end of the garden I sometime have fire ants show up. I put out fire ant treatment and reapplied. Two nights later even after a rain and the capsules should have been totally activated, deer destroyed a row of peas with capsules running parallel to the row 2ft away. I do know different products work in different environments since deer adapt to wherever they live and we do have a substantial coyote population in our area. So maybe that's why, but regardless defiantly didn't work for me!!!

These do keep the deer and rabbits away from my rose plants. I even put some under a deck to convince pesky rabbits to not live under my deck they were using for transport from front to back yard.

It is difficult to tell if this product works--so far no deer where we have put it---but there have been few deer at this point in time. I DO wonder what the "life" of the deterrent effect is after a month or so; that is not clear on the directions---put more down or what? Still see remnants of what is there-- is it still "working"? More information in product would be helpful. How often to put out, etc.

I was very please with this product. Our Spring Garden was being eaten by Deer. How do I know, because I put out a camera and took night photos of them eating my Cucumbers and other items. When I received the product, I put it around my garden about 6 - 8 feet apart and the Garden look great now. No sign of Deer and No night pictures of deer yet. It helped in my Garden in Gibsonville, NC.

I've had a very good experience with this product. I've tried other products over the last 4 yrs. with very limited success. I live in a wooded area in northern MI. Many deer around. The previous owners of the house planted a row of daylillies down the entire length of the house and each year the deer would eat every flower/bud. I was lucky if I got to see one flower/bud before it was devoured the next day. This year, I had flowers all year long and never saw any evidence of the deer eating them. I will be ordering this product every year.

This does help to keep the deer out of my plants and gardens……and I have a lot of deers. Live on 3 acres in town but lots of destructive deer
