HHKB - Happy Hacking Keyboard Professional Hybrid Type-S, Charcoal

Quite possibly the best or my favorite keyboard I’ve ever owned so far. The feel of the topre switches were unlike what I expected. After making a few custom keyboards, they had my favorite feel to use. No connection issues so far via Bluetooth for Mac or Windows. Love that I can use regular batteries or cabled usb connection.

This keyboard has been my all-rounder for everything. You can easily switch from device to device (I work on Mac for work, Windows for gaming or personal), and it is pretty flawless. The fn key takes a moment to acclimate to, but the shortcuts have been easy to adjust to. The battery life is mostly OK, but do not use rechargables as they tend to give out quicker than normal batteries. The pricing is steep, but if you’re into custom mechanicals or the higher end keyboards, then this is about average. The switches are decent and the actuation is a little harder than some linear cherry keys. The keycaps are nice overall and they’re easy to clean.

Bought this for my office and it’s perfect! Super comfortable to type on, feels high quality, looks super clean, and very quiet for meetings. Highly recommend!

Whoa, figured I would have reviewed this by now. I was one of those who built mechanical keyboards, and honestly the QMK and custom firmware world has its benefits, but what they don't have are Topre switches. The switches in this keyboard can't be replicated by anything in the mechanical market, nothing comes close! These switches are far superior to any milk or ninja coffee strawberry spritz keys you get in some group buy. I didn't need the Bluetooth but that was the only way to get the silent keys at the time without hitting up the used market. They have one now, and if you don't need the wireless keyboard part, go that route. HOWEVER! I have used the bluetooth with my laptops and I absolutely love the versatility of this keyboard. Thwack, Thocc, click, or clack, this thing rocks and sounds amazing if you need that, it is really quiet, office quiet, but still enough noise that everyone knows you mean business!

I really like typing on this keyboard, it sounds very nice. The only thing I don’t like is that there is no usb cable included. I had to buy one by myself.

The bluetooth connectivity is very disappointing. I can only pair the device with one machine. I've also found it to drop connections on occasion. I went to 3 stars because the "Type-S" aspect has improved. It sounds and feels great. But the bluetooth must be addressed. Also, a chargeable device would be strongly preferred - though the battery life seems to be good.

Taste oben rechts ~` hat keinen erkennbaren Druckpunkt und ist extrem schwammig. Hat nichts mit einem Topre Schalter zu tun. Quality Control scheint nicht vorhanden zu sein.

Compact, silent, light, great typing experience. It's expensive and I'm still getting used to the shortcuts but I like it so far. I decided to give this a try since my Realforce R2 keyboard got warped and is a heavy beast to carry around. It seems that the keyboard was imported from the US. It was sold and shipped by Amazon.ca but didn't come in an Amazon box, the original box was wrapped in plastic. Luckily the box didn't get damaged during transit.

性能は最高。 高い金を出す価値はある。 携帯したいが携帯するにはカバーなどで守る必要がある。 サプライもまた高いのが難点。 Bluetoothもショートカットで設定するので、ショートカット覚えられないおじさんにはきつい。

Professional/BTからの買い替えです。 以前のものより、打鍵感は若干軽く、音も静かになっています。 以前まではマイクに打鍵音が乗ってしまっていたので、ありがたいです。 また、それ以上に便利なのがBluetoothの切り替え機能です。 これまでは、自宅用と仕事用で別々にHHKBをおいて作業してましたが、これに切り替えてから1つでスムーズに切り替えられるため、机がスッキリしました。
