A little piece of mind
First the "Pro's" If you are a new drone operator like I am, these do give you a little piece of mind by helping protect your investment. On my second flight I clipped some branches and damaged two propeller blades. If I had these on I think I would have been fine. On a side note, these do fit the DJI Mini 4K too! Cons: 1.) They are time consuming to take off and put on. They seem to be a little fragile at first, but once they are on, they seem like they could take a pretty good bump with no problem. 2.) And this is a big one. When the DJI drone detects it has a payload, you are limited to 49 meters distance no matter what you have the App set at. 49 meters away and the drone stops and tells you maximum distance reached. I took them off and the drone was fine. I understand why they do this, to keep any would be nefarious individuals from using the drones to transport something they shouldn't. I just wish I had that information to begin with and didn't have to figure it out for myself. 3.) This product is really for any area you are flying in where there is a good chance of contacting some obstacle. It is not something you would use everyday. Bottom Line: I gave this 5 stars because it works the way it supposed to. Came at a fair price. Arrived quickly. And gives the drone a little added protection.

Unleash Fearless Flight: DJI Mini 2 360° Propeller Guard Review
The DJI Mini 2 360° Propeller Guard is a reliable protector for my drone. It offers excellent protection in narrow and challenging spaces that require precise maneuvering. One of its standout features is its robust construction. This guard has endured some rather forceful encounters with obstacles during flights, and to my surprise, it has held up remarkably well. The strength of the plastic is commendable, striking a balance between sturdiness and a certain level of flexibility. The drone's easy snap-on feature is a big advantage. It quickly and easily attaches, making deployment fast and hassle-free. This is crucial in dynamic environments where flight conditions can change rapidly. The design, while effective, does come with a minor drawback. It does not collapse or fold after use, which could be a consideration for those conscious of storage space. However, this is a small trade-off for the level of protection it provides during flights. A notable benefit of using a protective cage on my drone is the peace of mind it provides. With the cage, I can push boundaries and explore confined spaces without worrying about damaging the propellers or the drone itself. While the propeller guard feels substantial, its fragility is evident, especially given its purpose. It's a trade-off between being strong enough to withstand impacts and being fragile enough to absorb and distribute the force of a collision, thereby protecting the drone. The DJI Mini 2 360° Propeller Guard is an essential accessory for those who want extra security during flights, especially in difficult conditions. It is durable, easy to install, and gives you confidence. It's a worthwhile investment for drone enthusiasts. Fly without fear with this reliable guardian.

Modifying the Propeller Guard for use with MINI 4K
I am new to DJI Drones, but I wanted the MINI 4K. When it's raining or windy outside, I wanted to practice flying it indoors, so I purchased the propeller guard for the MINI 2 series. They are supposed to work with the MINI 4K. I received the propeller guards today and found that the rear hold-down clip for each side's propeller guard would not snap into place, which makes the guard somewhat useless for use with the MINI 4K. I took a good close look to see if I could determine WHY the rear hold-down clip would not snap in place and found the reason. On the underside of the fold-down portion of each clip are two long beads of plastic that rise from that tab. These two beads of plastic are preventing the hold-down tab from getting close enough to the propeller arm to be able to snap into place on the rear propeller arm. The solution is to carefully file down those two beads so that the surface is flat. Once those two beads of plastic are removed the clips will snap in place as they were designed to do. The first picture shows the original part. You can see the two beads of plastic running vertically in that picture. The second picture shows those two beads filed down to the surface. Removing that obstruction allows the REAR hold-down clip to snap into place. Now I can fly my MINI 4K safely indoors. Everything else about this guard seems fine by me. The Guard encloses the propellers very well, which is a good thing when flying around indoors with objects (and a very curious kitty) all around.

Works but combined weight >250grams
Quite well designed, braces the legs too. It can’t protect your drone when you fly fast and reckless, that is just basic physics. It will result in exceeding 250 gram limit, with the drone defaulting to reduced altitude and speed suitable for those still learning to fly. Not really a problem since prop guard would just create drag and not offer much if any protection at high speed anyway. Unless you have money to burn, forget about sport mode and even normal mode at low altitude til you develop proficiency at avoiding obstacles. Not for use around trees, shrubs or anything else that can hook the cage, then damage your props and trap your drone somewhere up high where you can forever admire it from a distance. Without the cage, again at low speed, the props will swivel and bounce off branches and leaves pushing the drone away, often without prop damage or knocking you out of the air. This guard basically allows you to accidentally bump into and bounce off most things at very low speeds without crashing out, just remember to get away from walls if you bump so it doesn’t suck itself onto the wall, then fall and break something. The camera/gimbal basically have no protection, these are after all, just prop guards.

Worth every penny
Saved my mini 4k more then once ,I'm a beginner never flown a drone before I got my mini 4k and even though it's super user friendly and easy to fly I still managed to hit a wall but it just bounced off and kept going I know if I didn't have prop guards I'd be replaced props at the very least if not the entire so I'm glad I got these also go the landing gear so I don't mess up the bottom of the drone when I land definitely worth the money

Excellent quard against done propeller injuries
These guards seem like they do what they are made for, and that is to protect people from getting injured by the drone's spinning propellers. In the case of the DJI Mini 4K, they increase the weight of the drone so that it is over the 250g limit for hobbyist drones, thus requiring the drone's pilot to have an FAA part 107 certificate to make use of these guards and still stay within FAA regulations.

Passt.
Macht, was es soll. Passt gut. Wind Empfindlichkeit steigt wie erwartet an. Höherer Akkuverbrauch. Aber trotzdem für mich als Anfänger ein Must have. Hat sich auch beim Erstflug schon bezahlt gemacht.

Saved my drone from damage flying indoors
I bought this set of propellor guards so that I can fly my DJI Mini SE indoors during winter. They fit perfectly and saved my drone from damage when I bumped into the wall once, and again when I clipped a light shade from the hanging living room light. In both incidents, the drone was still flying after the collision. I certainly recommend buying the 360 propellor guards when flying indoors or in forests with lots of obstructions. The only caveat is that the propellor guards bring the drone weight over 250 grams - 263 grams to be exact - so you may have to register your drone to comply with drone laws in Canada.

Great product! Really saves propeller during crashes!
Reduces drone fly time due to added weight, which is very logical. Highly recommended.
