Minor short stories
A couple of minor short stories that should be read before Joe Country which explain the sudden appearance of people like Lech Wichinski, Richard Pynne and triple agent Hannah Weiss in the main Slough House novels.

So That's Where That Character Came From.
Fits right in with the series and introduces an ongoing character's back story. Is a quick read and as good as the other novels.

The Drop/The List
Essential reading for Slow Horse devotees! Two short stories featuring John Bachelor, quasi Slow Horse who has been on the periphery of previous stories. His character is fleshed out here. Perfect tales which fit right into the world of Slough House and featuring familiar characters. The stories provide essential background to Lech’s story. I read these while waiting for Clown Town to arrive and wasn’t disappointed.
