Strong, adaptable, cost effective garage organizer
These wall mount tracks are very easy to install and are really sturdy. The many different attachments and hangers make these super versatile. Storage is easy to adjust without any tools once the track is mounted. Looks great, very professional, and costs less than most garage organizers.

Great way to organize your garage
These are great for organizing your garage. I used butterflies to anchor them to the wall. The tool holders clip onto the bar. Excellent product

Great organization to have
I recently installed this organization system in my garage, and I’m really impressed with its performance. The installation was straightforward and didn’t take long at all. Once mounted, the attachments are very easy to place and remove, which makes adjusting and reorganizing simple whenever I need to. Before, my garage was a cluttered mix of kids’ toys, strollers, and bikes. Now, everything has a clear spot, and the space feels much more functional and tidy. I especially appreciate how versatile the system is. I can rearrange attachments without hassle as my storage needs change. Overall, this system has been a fantastic investment for keeping my garage organized and stress-free. Highly recommended!

Easy to install if you pay attention to the details
I chose the Rubbermaid Fast Track system after looking at several other incomplete displays of competing track systems at a local big box store. The Rubbermaid system looked to be the sturdiest, as well as the most complete, and of course Rubbermaid is a brand that you can trust to be around in a year when you’re looking to expand your rack. It’s easy to install, too, IF you pay attention to the small details. Detail #1: The metal track and the plastic cover are NOT symmetrical! Look closely before you slide the cover off the track. The upper flange of the metal track is slightly longer than the lower flange, and if you mount it upside down, it’ll be extremely difficult to get the cover on. Make sure that longer edge is mounted UP. Detail #2: The plastic cover MUST be mounted right side up, or you’ll never get it on. The upper edge wraps around the metal track, but the bottom edge is shorter, so it can snap over the rail. Happily there's a Rubbermaid logo printed on the cover to help you get this right. Detail #3: The holes in the rail may not line up with the studs in your garage. I found it necessary to screw some short lengths of 2x4 alongside three of the existing studs in order to provide secure anchors at every stud. (See photo) Detail #4: Do NOT buy the Rubbermaid mounting kit. The screws provided are garbage. Instead, buy a box of deck screws. To do the job right you’ll need a drill/driver or (preferably) an impact driver. Don’t try to attach the screws by hand. You should also drill 1/8th inch pilot holes, even for “self drilling” screws, especially if your house was built before WWII. Older garages were built with wood that’s a lot harder than the typical SPF framing lumber used today. You’ll also need a level to do the job right. Figure out what height you want to install the rail and make a mark there. Rubbermaid recommends 4’ or 7’3”, but I installed mine at 6’ after experimenting with the tools I planned on hanging. Install the rack with one screw, check the level, and install the next. Check level again, and if everything looks good, install the rest of the screws. If you put the rail in correctly, the cover will easily snap on. Hook the top edge and give the lower edge a sharp rap with the heel of your palm or a rubber mallet.

Rubbermaid FasTrack rails
You know the individual pieces of the FastTrack garage system seem pretty cheap. Before your done with all the pieces parts tho, it isn't cheap. That said, you'll end up with a very attractive alternative to all your garage clutter. The DO look good and function well. You won't believe the weight these tracks are able to safely hold. It's amazing. I think its rated at 300 lbs or something, if you have at least 3-4 studs hit? A TIP from a user. You've heard the expression measure twice, cut/drill once. HEED THAT ADVISE. Make CERTAIN you find and mark your studs, The more of the long screws into studs, the more weight you can safely hang from these rails. I also tried to screw the uprights for a shelving system into studs where I could. One of my 3 garage setups Has this 48" rail & 3 vertical rails that hang from it. On the vertical rails are Rubbermaid shelve brackets & heavy wire shelves. I strongly suggest three uprights and three sets of shelve brackets to give the wide shelves a good center support. I intended to put 3 propane tanks (pretty heavy) & a couple 35 lb bags of charcoal on there. Also an extra 40 lb bag of dog food. The grill parks nicely underneath. Sweet setup. GOOD stuff but your total cost for a couple of rails and associated accessories you'll need will likely run $250-$350 bucks to have what really makes a diff.

Nice rails - could do without the overly conspicuous branding though
These rails are substantial, offer a decent finish, and are fairly straight forward to modify for varying applications. While taking it out of the box I was impressed with the heft of it. It's overbuilt for what the vast majority of folks would try to do with it (never underestimate a smooth brain). The plastic trim/cover is easy enough to install and hides the rail well without compromising the load bearing capacity. I found 2 sizes readily available. Maybe there are more out there that I just didn't see? What I wound up doing to make a more exact fit for my install was to break out the angle grinder and the bench vise. I had no problem tacking several pieces together to do exactly what needed done.

Measure twice...drill once
The original shipment had two tracks (48" each) one of which looked like it had been caught in something and crushed...reported it and Amazon had a replacement to me in two days. The product is a great way to organize your garage, closet, shed, laundry room...whatever you need to organize. The trick is to really find the studs in a wall if they aren't exposed (like in a shed)...the Walabot electronic stud finder is the tops...different product review). Marking the studs and measuring the height you want depends on your application (i.e., what do you want to hang from the wall? How long are those rake handles?) and also how close do you have to routinely pass by those garden tools hanging from the hooks? Point is, think about the long term use of the product before you make a decision to hang it too low. They can be unmounted and rehung, but then there are all of those holes drilled through your drywall. They are easy to install and they can really make your garage a better place in which to be banished by the house goddess.

Perfect for hanging anything
Great product, yet I used deck screws with washers, rather than the Rubbermaid screws (requires pressure drilling and they strip easily)

Excelente producto

Excellent system
Amazing system, I have purchased 2 x 84 inches and were delivered when expected, as expected. Pros: - The hooks slides flawlessly on the railing as expected. - The rails looks good and are made of durable Cons: - The tracks do not come with any hardware (sold separately) so I had to use my own wall anchors - The rails will follow the curve of the wall making it a bit harder to put the black plastic cover - I was not able to put the railing flush side by side so I cannot slide from one railing to the other (could be a problem from my installation methods and not necessarily from the product) Please note that considering the length of the railing, it would be recommended to be 2 person for the installation

Rubbermaid Fasttrack support.
Lots of fastening holes in back makes it easy to install. Hooks are easy to snap on and move as required.
