The rings I received were poorly manufactured
The rings and hardware looked good and were nicely finished; however, they were poorly made in that they were very poorly matched. I mounted them on a 1-piece Picatinny rail that I had previously installed with different, higher rings on a good quality air rifle receiver (Weihrauch Hw50). When the bottom halves of the Hawke rings were mounted and the rifle/rail leveled, they were distinctly different. That is, when level across the flats of one ring, the other would not be level. I tried reversing them front to rear as well as rotating them 180 degrees (changing the ring-to-rail screws from left side to right side), but no matter which way I oriented them, they simply could not both be made level at the same time. I tried 2 other sets of rings (one was Weaver Classic 1-screw aluminum rings, the second Weaver Grand Slam 2-screw steel rings) and both could be properly and simultaneously leveled. This is the first set of Hawke rings I've tried. This pair didn't meet my expectations or quality standards. Because the HW50 is a spring piston rifle, I ended up using the Grand Slam rings I had and returned the Hawke's.

grate fit
I installed it on a bolt action rifle with a Nikon scope. fit right the 1st time I did have to lap the scope contact point for the front mounting bracket. it's a solid fit will buy them again for my next rifle

Does not fit 9mm groove on rifle
Does not tighten to 9mm grooves. Screw bends and head strips if any pressure is applied to get it to 9mm. If your grooves are 10mm+ should be fine. Dissappointing.
