Seymour 16-45 Rust Converter, Black

This is the best converter I've ever used. It dries fast and hard, and has exactly the low sheen I need to duplicate factory finishes on many cars. Highly recommend !

Does what it says it will, and holds up the the heat of my mower. I had a fair amount of rust on a zero turn mower that was many years old. I was able to clean that up a bit, and cover it with this. Now that mower looks like new to me, and it runs great. I had no problems with flaking. I have an extra can because I bought two expecting to not have enough in a single can, no regrets there this shows it is a great size. When applying it did go on thick if I did not keep moving, but it still dried to a solid, matte black surface with no visible rust. It was easy to use, easy to clean up if needed, and gave a great professional look to my project mower.

Leaves a nice even finish right out of the can. No drips, errors, or uneven spraying; works well! Multiple light application/coats is what you want for desired results. Pricing takes one star off yet convenience keeps it right at a solid four.

This stuff is pricey but well worth it. From what I can tell it instantly converts. Time will tell if the rust comes through but until that time I’m giving it 5 stars. It’s great to use over the rust oleum brand.

Extremely easy to use and great coverage. Thus is a good product and well worth the investment. Arrived days ahead of schedule, very pleased. One negative about the delivery, whoever delivered it just left it sitting at the end of our driveway by our mailbox and did not bring it to our porch. It was a Sunday delivery and I didn’t see who the carrier was. Shame on the lazy carrier.

When you don’t want to or can’t brush it on, this works well. Probably eight cans for a standard truck frame.

Amazing stuff. Just sprayed my campers frame down and looks good as new!
