Great product - lots of moss, worked pefectly
This forest moss works extremely well. Once you soak it, it bulks up way more than expected — one of the compressed disks expanded enough to fill almost four sections of my moss pole. The quantity is impressive, and the texture is perfect for keeping humidity up. Clean, soft, and great for plant projects or terrarium setups. Definitely worth it!

Fluffs up well in water
I’ve heard that fresh moss is better to use for plants than this dried stuff. That said, this fluffs up well in water and is easy to keep moist in a moss pole. Getting frost moss would probably hav3 a high shipping cost

Perfect for my terrarium!
I love how versatile this moss is! I use a brick for my 2 40-gallon terrariums, and the other for my potted plants to hold in moisture, especially my tropical species! When using for my terrariums, I have to soak and pick through for any small stems or pieces not needed in my turtles' enclosure's. Compared to other brands and different types of sphagnum moss, this one is best, especially for the amount and price! All of the other ones I have tried have way too many stems and various scrap pieces that can be harmful to your reptiles! All moss will contain some stem and unwanted extra material, but I have never had a big issue with these. Never had any with mold, unlike many others I have seen or received! One brick soaked for 15 mins will fill up both of my 40-gallon terrariums about 2 to 3 inches. Just enough for my burrowing babies to have a nice home that is safe and sanitary! I love how it can be reused several times before discarding and getting new! A good rinse under hot water and squeezed to damp, I reuse it about three time. I like to do a deep clean about once a month, so one brick lasts all together around 4 months!

Great for moss pole.
I also used this in a terrarium before. Now days I mainly use it for the moss poles and it works great, the same as sphagnum moss as far as moisture. Plants root into right way. Some people mention that it smells, I like the smell, it’s an earthy smell. The water has a beige color when you squeeze it after soaking, when using it for the plants, I dont care but in the terrarium, I washed it as much as a can with well water then when I had a chance I soaked it in rain water but rain water is not mandatory, I just wanted to do it because I had it. I keep a couple of terrariums for the winter time since gray tree frogs loves to hide in my house plants, all my house plants go outside for the spring, summer and fall. So in the fall, I see these frogs, sometimes I can find them quickly and take them out, other times it’s already too cold, I don’t have the heart to dump them out there when it’s like Dec, Jan, you know what I mean. Overall, I do recommend this product and for sure will continue to use it. You can see more on my I G Ufitlinda.

Perfect substrate for plant propagation 🌿
I purchased this moss specifically to propagate some slow rooting plant cuttings and a few Alocacia corms that I recently got. This is a long fiber sphagnum that comes packaged dry & tightly compressed in brick form. It breaks apart easily, and fills out a lot once wet! A little goes a long way! To me, it smells like fresh earth. The moisture retention of this sphag inside of a humidity dome is incredible. It'd be perfect for a living terrarium. 🌿 This particular brand, Exo Terra, had the best price that I could find after a pretty extensive search, so I was pleased about that. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is because the packaging states it's a 2 pack (?) but I only received one brick. Idk what that's supposed to mean - is this single brick equivalent to a 2 pack of something else, or what? It's confusing and I'm still not sure if I got short changed. Aside from that, I'm extremely happy with the performance of this moss - it fluffs out nicely and retains moisture forever! My philo cutting has already started producing a root that look really healthy, and it's only been a couple of weeks!

EXO TERRA FOREST PLUME MOSS
I highly recommend especially when you need to care for your plants and heavy lifting is not an option. Just put in a bucket and add water and you have a huge ton of moss. I use straight for plants that roots need to grab onto something to root, great for orchids.

Awesome product
So i have a ball python. And his tank humidity has always been hard to maintain. Which any snake owner know can cause shedding issues. Before when i saw that he was getting ready to shed i just sprayed his tank more often.. his last shed snuck up on us though and he retained most of the shed on his head and upper half. So i ordered this moss to make him a humidity box. Well, i decided to mix it with his substrate as well. Which apparently made it just loose enough for him to burrow under and he had completed his shed by the following day! I used about two inches from one brick and after i wet it, it was enough moss to cover the bottom of half the 40g tank and have a little extra! These two block are gonna last us probably at least 6mos. Very cost effective. And very easy to use. It does dry out a little fast so i still spritz his tank a couple times a day. But he appears to be a very happy camper!

Brick of Moss!!!! Woooo!!!!
Just add water! Ha, it is a compressed brick of moss. If you want a compressed brick of moss that turns into a bunch of fluffy moss...then this is your huckleberry. I use it for orchids and terrariums, works great.

Sphagnum mos

Good quality and value
Cones in a side block lime a brick. Pull or cut away what you need and soak in water. A little slice goes a long, long way...! Easy store without mess. Makes my cuttings grow quickly and they flourish. The only moss I buy

Amazing!
This is the best reptile moss I have purchased. It really expands and excellent quality. Goes a LONG way once it reaches its potential. Would highly recommend.
