I bought this drill for general home projects, and it has been a great tool to have around. It has plenty of power for everyday tasks like assembling furniture, hanging shelves, installing hardware, and other DIY projects. What I like most is that it feels comfortable in the hand without being too heavy. The two-speed settings are useful depending on the job, and the drill has enough torque to get through most tasks without struggling. The battery life has been good for my needs, and it charges reasonably quickly. For a compact cordless drill, it feels solid and well-built, not like a cheap entry-level tool. The controls are simple, the grip is comfortable, and it's easy to switch between drilling and driving screws. Whether you're a homeowner or someone who likes tackling projects yourself, it covers a lot of ground. Overall, this is a dependable drill that offers a good balance of power, convenience, and value. It's become one of those tools I reach for regularly and am glad to have in the toolbox.

I only had to wait 2 business days to get this glorious tool. Now, I am in no ways a professional when it comes to drilling nor do I use power tools at my job. However, in my downtime I enjoy building small projects and modding my guitars and amps. It worked perfect out of the box and the battery even had close to full charge on arrival. There was no assembly, it came with a charger and seems to be extremely powerful for my needs. The size is perfect and it is definitely a great value for the price. If I need another cordless drill, I know where to go now.

Great deal for the price.

I’ve not had this long but I’m impressed. I’ve loved my B & D and Craftsman drills over the years and was thinking I would be replacing my 15 year old B & D with another of the same brand. I stumbled across this one and decided to take a chance on it. Glad I did! Great feel in my hands, sturdy feeling but not too heavy.

So far this drill is meeting all my requirements and expectations. It is sturdily built, intuitive to use with a small learning curve, and the battery is still on the initial charge when I first received it. As far as driving screws, it has plenty of power. I’m still working on the best setting to simply put screws in that are pre-drilled. I would like it to be slower, so I won’t strip them. My only complaint.

I own two of these drills. I bought the second one as a backup when the price dropped below $20. The price is now back up to $40, which is odd. This is a great drill. I left it outside recently and it sat in the rain overnight. It still works great.

For the price I was not expecting all that much. But so far this drill has been better than expected. I hooked up a small garden auger and this worked great, works good on screws of various sizes about the only knock I can give is the battery life is only about an hour with moderate use.

I bought two, one a year ago and it lasted exactly one year and the motor seized up. I liked it, so I bought a second one to replace it. Unfortunately the 2 speed switch was defective on the second one. It only worked on the high speed. Returned it. For some reason I wasn't given the choice just to exchange it.

Esta es la tercer vez que adquiero productos Hammerhead, y nuevamente me han sorprendido agradablemente. Me dedico a la ingeniería de prototipos, así que no necesito productos de corte industrial, sino productos que cumplan con DIY. El taladro es perfecto en cuanto a comodidad, potencia y precio. Es pequeño y muy cómodo, tiene una gran potencia para el sector al que está destinado. No esperen un "DeWalt Killer", esperen un producto eficiente. Lo he trabajado con madera de pino, con caoba y con roble blanco, en todas partes funcionó bien, usé brocas Bosch para madera y taladró mucho más de su capacidad establecida. Con brocas de 3/8 perforé tablones de caoba de 1 1/2" y lo hizo sin calentarse y sin disminuir su potencia. Usando brocas forstner el trabajo lo hace limpio, no eché de menos la potencia de un taladro con cable o de un taladro de gama alta. Un pulgar arriba para Hammerhead, probaré otros productos.
