only fire Stainless Steel Rotisserie Kit Grilling Accessories with 6 Watt 110V Electric Motor for Gas Grills - 28 × 0.35 Inch Hexagon Spit Rod

This rotisserie has proven to be quite reliable for us. It has been used every week this summer with applications ranging from two chickens at the ame time to a beef ribeye roasts, pineapples, and picanhas. The value vs service provided is more than adequate. It fits within my 4 burner Charbroil Commercial series grill and it has enough clearance for at least two 4-5 pound chickens together. The unit still looks like new, made out of sturdy stainless steel so I expect it should last for a good while provided we treat it properly.

Not flimsy at all. Seems to be a quality motor, it runs pretty quiet. Had to drill a couple of holes in my grill but it works fine. I wish the spit was longer but it worked. The forks were sharp which is a plus.

Bought this kit to use with my 22 inch kettle grill that has a rotisserie ring and motor bracket attached. Various pieces of this rotisserie kit appear to be heavy duty and well made. 6 watt motor very quiet and operated smoothly/effortlessly in 1st use. The already attached motor bracket on my kettle fit the kit motor perfectly so I didn't need to use the motor bracket in the kit. Hexagonal spit rod has a round channel cut into it to rest on an included bracket or the edge of a hole or slot cutout in one side of a grill. Unfortunately, the channel cutout in the rod in this kit was misaligned with the rod hole cutout in my kettle by about 1/2 inch when rod was inserted into motor mounted to opposite side of kettle. Bushing piece in kit was solid without a circular channel cut in it. The included bushing was meant only to lock the spit rod in place to keep the rod from sliding out of the motor's rod slot. Wish that bushing piece in the kit had channel cut into it to provide an adjustable rod turning pivot point for accommodating different grill widths. Other kits have this type of bushing piece. Had to buy separately so 1 star deduction. 1st use produced fantastically moist chicken in pic.

A lot of reviewers had problems with installation, although the installation instructions are lacking, they mentioned drilling holes etc.. to mount it. I purchased a PERMASTEEL 3 Burner grill and this rotisserie fits PERFECTLY to it without need for drilling and takes only a short time. Disappointing that PERMASTEEL didn't know what rotisserie to recommend when I contacted their customer service representative. Have yet to use it but doubt it will be a problem.

Had to modify my grill for this but it works just fine. If you’re not handy, you might want to just buy a grill that comes with a rotisserie.

I love the rotisserie set. It works as advertised. It is well made. It is easy to clean. But it does not fit all the grill styles and sizes as advertised. I have a standard, run of the mill, Char-Broil grill and the the screw alignment does not work for my grill. If I try to secure it, according to instructions, the the grill cover cannot be closed when cooking. So I used a little ingenuity to overcome the problem, and all is fine. Normally I would have returned the unit to buy a different one, but I had a chicken, people, and a holiday to deal with the day it arrived, so I made due. Now that I did, I can live with it. The unit itself is terrific so if it fits your grill I think you will be very happy!

Untill now it works fine. I didn't give 5 stars because I need to make some modifications in order to use it on my grill, also could be better if the plate could have some more "holes" to adjust the height.

Nice product , go for my house party , was a highlight of it .

It's motor stoped working in the first try and in the middle of cooking. Had to turn it by hand to cook the chicken.
