Herb Pharm - Whole Leaf Uva Ursi Liquid Extract For Urinary System Restoration 64255

I have been battling UTIsfor over a month off and on now. After doing a lot of research, I was pointed to Uva Ursi many times. I decided to take the plunge even though many reviewers said it tasted horrible. Directions say to add 1 full squeeze of the dropper to about 2 oz. of water or juice 2-4 times a day. I have been averaging about 2-3 times a day (because I forget honestly). To me, the taste is NOT horrible like most people say. It really truly tastes like very weak unsweetened tea! Thank goodness because I was so worried that I was going to have to force myself to take this every time. It is recommended to take it between meals. I have noticed a difference in my latest UTI flareup since starting this Uva Ursi about 6 days ago. It hasn't 'cured' it but it has kept it from getting any worse. I also use 1 tsp of D-Mannose powder 2x a day and a Cranberry chew once a day. I think each of these will work best at the very beginning of a UTI and not in the middle of a full blown one. I do not want to take antibiotics for it so I am keeping on this until the UTI goes away (don't forget LOTS of water!) and then planning on sticking with some sort of daily supplement to help prevent them. I think Uva Ursi should be kept in the medicine cabinet at all times, especially for those who suffer with UTIs often!

I have purchased several different Herb Pharm extracts and they are all very high quality. I take this Uva Ursi along with Herb Pharm's Buchu extract when I have upset my system with foods, wine, or beer and start to get bladder irritation. The combination works like a charm.
