How do the wheels attach? Please help.

As Diane indicated, you use a rubber mallet and a flat head screwdriver to pop out the stationary legs. Once removed, you'll need pliers to hold both the nut end and the metal washer end. It takes a little coordination and some "english" to tighten it down sufficiently, but when you get it correct the rubber grommets will "expand" to provide a tight fit into the ends of the legs. It took me a few attempts before I "got it", but this style of caster is very strong once installed properly. You'll see these on all commercial grade stainless prep tables. Hope this helps.

Can you slide the shelf to be lower?

Someone put it together for me but she told me the shelf can be installed at different heights/locations.
