Happy Belly Pecan Halves 8 Oz

These are delicious and healthy with no salt or sugar added so I could control the flavor of my new side dish. They are good quality pecans that I roasted in the oven for 10 minutes prior to adding them to a new side dish I made. Recipe Idea: I used a half package of pecans and added 1/4 cup of dried cranberries to taste, then drizzled a tablespoon of dark maple syrup and mixed with a large spoon in a quart size bowl. I also cut 5 strips of bacon into 2 inch bite sizes and oven roasted them for about 20 min., laid them on a paper towel to remove excess grease. Add the bacon to the pecan mixture and set the pecans bowl aside. Now prepare the fresh Brussels Sprouts. After rinsing 2 lbs. with water, use a paper towel to pat dry, slice or remove any brown, loose leaves and discard. Lightly coat them with 1 TBS. olive oil by shaking them in a plastic zip-lock bag. Place them in an open baking dish or roasting pan, sprinkle lightly with salt and roast for 45 minutes in the oven at 400 degrees until they turn brownish, almost black. During the last 10 minutes, add the bowl of pecans mixture into the Brussels Sprouts and finish roasting. After they set on top of the stove for about 10 minutes, use a large cooking spoon to scoop them into a serving bowl and gently mix them again. Any leftovers can be reheated in minutes or enjoy them cold. They are a delicious combination of sweet and salty, and was enjoyed by all. Enjoy! NOTE: Bag it comes in is NOT suitable for storage even when unopened! I just opened the second bag from October, 2025 and they are soft, bland, and not crunchy at all. Rufus review/questions explains this problem and advises customers to open each bag immediately to ensure pecans are fresh before storing them in airtight containers. Lesson learned, better late than never! Deducting one star from previous 5 star review because it isn't consistent and past my window return date. UPDATED: Amazon responded right away when I chatted with Customer Service and I received credit right away for a replacement package. I just opened it and have upgraded back to 5 Stars again for freshness, slight crunch and buttery flavor. Awesome customer service!

Good pecans. Price at stores is expensive. These were such a value. Purchased walnuts as well. Squirrel snacks! But buying more for holiday baking.

I eat pecans regularly and I ordered this bag of pecan halves from Amazon and they taste really good. I add them to coconut yogurt or eat them as a handful for snacking. The price was good. I am happy with this purchase.
