Superb performance and power consumption
This CPU is a dream come true to any Server Home addict. I am running my own Windows Server 2022 with Hyper-V and this CPU absolutely rocks. Not only is fast enough for all my needs, it is also extremely efficient. Only using 44W on idle with Core Parking enabled and downclocks to 1.2Ghz and doing pretty good at max load with only 59C full load on all Cores maxed out at 3.5Ghz. It is clearly a bang for the buck if you consider that you can run this CPU on a server motherboard (like I do) with 4 x PCIe 16x and 2.5Gbit ethernet devices. It's the perfect Plex server and all of this for a quarter of what you should pay for a modern CPU. Consider also that this CPU allows up to 1.5TB of RAM, making it ideal for massive tasks that require lots of memory. Being Broadwell also means that you get the power power efficiency and IPC from this generation, even being old. Truly recommended!

Good Processors
Great processors, packaged well. 2 of them work great in my PowerEdge R430.

The used processors work well
The used processors work well, I have not had any issues from buy used parts from this vendor

Powerful processor for lots of multitasking
The processor has so many cores to work with for running many services. It does generate plenty of heat, but that's to be expected. I do miss the onboard video every once in awhile for troubleshooting hardware.

Worked like a charm
Was a little leery buying a used cpu, even knowing it was tested and had a warranty. Hard to beat the price though. Glad I did, it worked as advertised.

Extreme power for a fraction of price
With the crazy DDR5 prices, I decided to make a desktop PC, in October of 2025, which utilizes DDR4. I used the S2600CW dual socket mobo and threw two of these CPUs in there for a total of 28 cores. While these CPUs are an overkill for general home use, they're extremely fast.
