Très intéressant et ne fait pas des dizaines de pages de blabla de remplissage. Mais néophyte s'abstenir. Intéressant pour se mettre à jour si on est déjà dev.

Excellent book to learn C# and .NET
I am currently halfway through the book (it is a lot!) No nonsense, straight to topic textbook. It is packed with information and gives you an excellent guideline to learn all you need to know about C# 8.0 and .NET Core 3.0 and how to use it to develop apps. The title is very very long but its really all in there. You might need a very basic understanding of "C#/programming in general" to not feel overwhelmed by its pace, BUT Everything you need to know IS covered.

Highly recommended for the most up-to-date use of C# 8 and dotNet Core 3
As an amateur developer with a desire to become familiar and proficient with C# and .NET Core 3, I found this book to meet my needs and expectations. It provide thoroughly clear explanations of the language and its underlying technology. Its tutorial method is straightforward with good examples and exercises that are easy to follow and that are explained fully but concisely. The chapter organization seems at first to include too many topic, but after a little time they all make sense together. There are a large number of "Good Practice" comments and "More Information" guides that provides enhancements for even better understanding of coding methods and details for understanding the language better. While the screen shots are a bit small (not easy to read in dim light), the author provides web links to those shots early in the book so that they can be viewed more clearly. For those new to the Visual Studio Code IDE, this is good advice given. All in all, this book is superb for a beginner using C# or someone like me with a reasonably good programming background but desiring to enhance ones skills for modern applications.

Muy buen libro
Me llego 4 días antes de lo indicado, muy bien por esto. Ya llevo 2 capítulos del libro y esta muy bien explicado, no tienen tantos pasos como otros libros, por lo cual esta enfocado a desarrolladores de sistemas con conocimientos previos y experiencia, que no requiere que los lleven de la mano.

This book is great! Received it yesterday. Onto the fourth chapter and I quite like it. Wasn’t sure what it was going to be like after reading some of the negative reviews. I do think it is not for an absolute beginner with no knowledge of object oriented programming whatsoever.
