Tiffen 55mm Black Pro-Mist 1/4 Filter|Black Pro-Mist Filter|Ultra Slim|Cinematic Effect Camera for Portrait Photography/Video/Vlog

The Tiffen pro-mists are amazing. The halation looks better than the K&F concepts and no coatings adds sun glares to the shot to make it more artistic. Also the 1/4 Tiffen is the strength of the 1/8 K&F so if you dont want too much halation get the Tiffen 1/8 for a more subtle effect that you can use in more shots. I have both the Tiffen 1/4 & 1/8 and they are really good. Also, one of mine came with the glass rattling around a bit, if you get that on the black side of the inside of the front facing of the filter there is a small hole you can use to tighten the metal supporting the glass. Watch a Youtube video. It is common for that to happen with filters over time and it does not mean your filter is damaged!

Great filter. I bought it for my 23mm lens on my Fuji X-Pro 1. Makes my photos look so great. My only gripe is the way it’s packaged. The case was fine but when I opened it the filter was just sliding around with no protection. Luckily it didn’t get scratched.

Adds a soft glow without losing detail. Perfect for video work.

I use this filter with a Canon AE-1 Program, and it works as intended. For a bit less than a Moment Cinebloom filter that I use on my Mamiya RB67, it gets the job done. The only complaint I'd have is with occasional reflections between the filter and front lens element when the light hits at a certain angle. This has never happened once with my Cinebloom Filter. Attached are 3 images shot on film from the same roll on the same night. First two look as intended, but the third photo highlights the reflections. That being said, I was able to use Lightroom Generative AI removal brush to correct it. Still 5/5, would recommend. Pros: - Effectiveness - Price to Performance Cons: - Occasional Reflections

I’m still working out how I feel about this filter. It hasn’t left my lens though. It feels almost film like about it, the gelatin, the open shadows, sort of. Really nice at dusk or very early mornings.

Great product

Keep this on my lens almost full time. Makes digital photos looks so aesthetic. Highly recommend. Also, if you have a problem with the lens cap staying on, I've found that putting the cap on and then giving it a clockwise twist helps seat it properly.

I received the product and it was as described. It felt well made and easy to screw onto the lens of my camera. Given the right situation, the pro-mist adds a vibe to the image, not sure how I'd describe it, perhaps a nostalgic look to the images, which I quite enjoy. I didn't tell my friends about the pro-mist and when I shared some photos, they definitely noticed the look and quite liked it as well. It's a good tool to have in the arsenal and I'd recommend it.

Es un buen filtro. Da el efecto deseado. Muy bueno para quitar la nitidez excesiva de las nuevas cámaras digitales. Lo uso con una Sony a7iii y definitivamente le imprime otro feeling al vídeo.
