Fabulous Product!!!
I recently purchased the Smartivity Globe Explorer for my child, and it has been an excellent tool for both learning and hands-on creativity. Hereโs what makes it stand out: Design and Concept: The Smartivity Globe Explorer is a well-thought-out educational toy that combines geography with engineering. The kit allows kids to build their own rotating globe from scratch, which is not only engaging but also fosters a sense of accomplishment. The globeโs design is simple yet effective, with all the major continents, countries, and oceans marked. The rotating feature adds an extra layer of interactivity, making it more than just a static learning tool. STEM Learning Value: This kit offers a fantastic blend of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning. Children not only get to explore geography, but they also learn basic mechanical concepts as they assemble the gears and mechanisms that make the globe spin. The instructions are clear, ensuring that kids understand the process while having fun. Itโs perfect for curious minds, teaching them problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, and a bit of global knowledge all in one go. Material Quality: The kit is made from eco-friendly, high-quality wood, which is durable and safe for children. The laser-cut wooden pieces are smooth and fit together snugly, requiring no glue or additional tools. The globe is sturdy once assembled and can handle a bit of rough play without falling apart. Assembly Process: The assembly process is easy to follow, and most children aged 8 and above should be able to complete it with minimal adult supervision. The parts fit together perfectly, and the step-by-step manual ensures there is no confusion. The process itself takes about an hour or two, making it a fun weekend project for kids. Educational Value: Apart from building skills, the globe encourages curiosity about the world. My child loved identifying different countries and continents, and it sparked a lot of questions about geography, cultures, and travel. The kit also includes a companion app that adds augmented reality (AR) elements, bringing the globe to life with facts and trivia, further enhancing the learning experience. Value for Money: For the price, the Smartivity Globe Explorer offers a lot. Itโs not just a toy but an interactive educational experience that can be used repeatedly. The combination of hands-on building and the educational value makes it a worthwhile purchase for any parent looking to encourage STEM learning in a fun way. Pros: Combines STEM learning with geography High-quality, eco-friendly materials Easy-to-follow assembly Educational and interactive Cons: Some younger kids may need help with assembly

Excellent educational toy, great build quality, great alternative to digital toys
Already having a high regard for Smartivity from past experience, I got this for my 9 year old. The pandemic has forced our kids to endure more screen time, which I consider detrimental to overall development. My son was immediately enamored, and engrossed in assembling it. The act of making a globe (sphere) out of flat pieces made him understand construction. And then the game itself gives an idea of the world map, land and sea etc. Overall, an excellent educational toy which can be used for years. I recommend this toy for kids.
