Should any liquid remain in bottle after running cycle? After following directions (sticker off/hot cycle), bottle was full/residue remained. Tips?

You need to run the hot water in the kitchen sink to purge the cold water out of the lines before starting the dishwasher. This ensures that only hot water is going into your dishwasher. Newer models do not heat up the water and rely on the water already being hot when it enters the dishwasher. COnsidering I have to run my water for over 3 minutes to get hot water at my kitchen sink, and the fill cycle on my dishwasher doesn't even last 1 minute, there will be no hot water in my dishwasher if I did not purge it of the cold water first. I am an appliance repair tech and this comes straight from manufacturers. This is the same as when you do dishes as well. Always purge the cold water from the hot water lines BEFORE starting the dishwasher. It ensures that all the water entering the dishwasher is at least 125 degrees (depending on temp setting on the water heater).

Yes, depends on the dishwasher, Mine runs for 3 hours on the hottest cycle.

Step 1: Remove the sticker from the cap. Do not puncture or remove the cap. Step 2: Place the bottle upside down on the bottom rack of your empty dishwasher. Step 3: Close the dishwasher and run on a high temperature cycle. Do not add any other detergent in conjunction with this cleaner. Step 4: After the full cycle has completed, open the dishwasher and remove the bottle and recycle. Step 5: For heavy build up you may need to repeat the process.
