Great for cleaning portafilter
After using our espresso machine for a few months, we realized that just rinsing the portafilter with soap and water wasnโt sufficient (oops). There would always be brown water that came out even after rinsing thoroughly. I did some research and found these brushes. They are so simple, cheap, and get the job done. The bristles are stiff enough to scrub out the crud but flexible enough to bend into the little crevices in the portafilter. Iโm very happy with them and would buy them again.

Does the job
Good product, does exactly what I need it to do. The scoop on the bottom part is bigger than it needs to be though. I had to discuss with my employees to use half the scoop

It does clean the head
The upside and downside of this wonderful little tool is: Upside: It's shape allows it to get into the locking groove along with the rest of the head, the "bristles" are very stiff and heat resistant, unlike my nylon bottle brush which I only use after the head had cooled - that was what I call and ERL for Experienced Related Learning after the bristles on my bottle brush were permanently splayed out by the 200 degree heat. It does clean the head quite efficiently. There is a very minor downside, because the bristles are so stiff if you run the machine to force water out of the head as a part of the cleaning process and use the brush at the same time, there is a bit of hot errant spray. Not a big issue and probably not any reason not to use the brush or a "fix" for that issue, but stil there's a bit of mop up after. The little spoon must serve some purpose, but I haven't found one for it as yet.

I love how inexpensive and functional these are
I love how inexpensive and functional these are. Now I only have to look for two things (the detergent, and this brush/scoop combo) when it's time to break down and clean the espresso machine at the end of a long, busy day. The length and bent shape of the handle helps to A) reach the bottom of the deep and narrow detergent bottle, and also to B) get to the little nooks and crannies of a group-head without having to get so close that you wind up accidentally burning yourself on the hot bits under there.

Great brushes to clean Keurig
Love these brushes! When I was a barista we used these constantly and I loved using them. After recently purchasing a Keurig I wanted something to clean in all the tiny crevices so I knew this brush would do the trick!

Cant get in there and give it a good
The body of this brush is not stiff enough, it bends back when i try to clean the gasket. Cant get in there and give it a good scrub. Update - Company contacted me and offered a refund. 3 Stars for great customer service.

Poor quality not excusable by any standards
BLACK NON-DETACHABLE HEAD BRUSH REVIEW: First brush used twice so far, bristles already melting away. However, after I dialed in the pressurestat and got a K-1 grouphead thermometer, the second brush is holding great below 200F. It may be useful to keep the 90C or 195F grouphead templ, especially if you use freshly roasted beans, above that not only will the brushes melt, but you espresso will be overextracted, ie bitter. The red detachable head finer bristle brushes are on the way, will compare soon.

Great Cleaner Brushes
We use these our our Gaggia Brera for deep cleaning the brew group. They are the right size and stiffness

Good product
Well made product with a hard brush, ideal to clean the filter head. It is longer than I though, but its shape makes it easy to hold.

Pretty much perfect design and execution
I have a Nuova Simonelli Oscar II which makes wonderful espresso. As I have learned over time, one of the important tricks is keeping the gruppo and shower head clean. For quite a few years, I've used a toothbrush, but the bristles aren't long enough to properly reach between the part of the gruppo that clamps the portafilter and the shower head. This brush absolutely does the trick - it's the perfect width to fit in and plenty long enough to reach right down to the gasket to dislodge old coffee grains. The bristles are a good stiffness to clean but also to bend to reach into the corners, plus to brush the shower head. As another reviewer noted, the splash guard on the handle is a great design idea, though I don't use extremely hot water nor do I use cleaner for regular maintenance, so this isn't a big win for me. But still very well thought out. Same with the scoop at the end of the handle - if I had an open container of cleaner this would be useful, but my shaker of Puly has a relatively small hole, so I just pour it into the blind filter. All in all, an excellent brush for cleaning my machine, at an excellent price. Highly, highly recommended; I will definitely buy the same again.

Great for the price
They are much cheaper than you buy from a Barista supply store and they are working perfectly on our commercial two group handle machine
