First Little Readers: Guided Reading Level C (Classroom Set): A Big Collection of Just-Right Leveled Books for Beginning Readers

I bought these books for my buddy first grader, we love these books so much! Great for a beginner reader. She feels proud she can read them by herself. Nice collection and i think the stories are adorable. She has learned a lot of new words and continues to build confidence every week.

Great leveled readers

I teach kindergarten and I love these sets. I started with A and then bought B and now I have to buy C! I use these little books to send home in "take home book bags" every night with the activity page to be done with their "grown up". Once they do the reading and page, they bring it back for the next book. I have my parent helpers trained to take full charge of the switch over. I keep a log of which book the student has taken for reminders if they don't bring a book back. I have lost a few along the way but the return on the ones that do it properly has been great. Wonderful for the home/school connection.

I don't understand if this set is meant for a classroom where each child can have a copy of the same book or what. There are like four different versions of a book with tons of copies of that same book instead of a set of many different books.

This is terribly misleading. While it's 100 books, it NOT 100 different books. It's only 20 different books, and 5 of the same book in each plastic wrapping. I'm so disappointed
