HumanCentric VESA Mount Adapter Bracket for Samsung Monitors U28D590D and S24D590PL

Why did Samsung decide to not include a VESA mount on their early 4K monitors? Who knows. But this does a pretty decent job of getting it setup with a fairly sturdy mount given the horrible Samsung design. It isn't the sturdiest mount but that isn't really the fault of HumanCentric, they did the best they could with the design they were given and the awful tongue on the bottom of the display. I am using this adapter in a stacked monitor setup along with a 34" ultrawide that did have a vesa mount built in. I was worried the added depth of this adapter would make the Samsung display stick out too far forward but it worked very nicely with the curved ultrawide. Do make sure that you use a ratchet to tighten the screw that holds the adapter to the tongue on the display. I had to tighten it quite a bit to get it very sturdy. 8mm socket for those wondering.

Be careful if you have a Samsung PLS monitor ok...definitiley if it has Samsungs with "Touch if colour". Includes bezel and OEM stand mount with rubber square dampmers, non PVC plastic unit. Its great. Stay tuned.... I can get off track but blow your mind soon I promise. So I bought this mount plus a fleximount. The versa mount doesn't meet or mesh well because of the style, I have a 24" 2015 late 2015 model samsung monitor. It's the PLS top of the line monitor. It doesn't have the holes where the plate goes up to so you have to use the Lil mount on the bracket. Pain in the but. I made a small bracket a day it's still super top heavy. I am not sure if I will keep it up on the flexibility mount. The flexibility mount works great. No problem. For what the demand is for this price and quality range, there is little room for error. It may possibly sabotage the entire program for this product & product launch. Now add some extra small brackets like I made and used as a strength modification, ask for a pic and I can offer my help to the situation. I know how to make it happen. Very creative to run a team doing similar situation to you. So fix that and I see a durability, affordability, leading edge, new cunning style design to mend all mounting needs with ease and simplicity. Product should be more sleek, add a carbon fiber black graphite look to the arm and arm cover (shock) and plus add a Lil gloss too to keep it there along with flat contrast a collaborative design all come together for one thing I call with me creations and inventions..."Simply Amazing".

I was semi reluctant to purchase this item due to the low ratings but i didnt have a choice so i bought it.. im using it on my 28in samsung monitor. 1. Yes monitor wobbles bit, but it is nothing significant. Perfectly acceptable and if i have to adjust monitor angle (which happens very rarely), ill just adjust to mount first and insert monitor instead of doing it other way 2. Yes, there r plenty of spaces to put hdmi and power cables (again, im using it for my samsung monitor, other brands may have different fittings) 3. Im using it with amazons single vesa arm mount. Installation took less than a minute 4. Reliability? Well i just got mine today. Ill update the review if i find a problem

I consider myself lucky I found this. I was frustrated that my U28D590D didn't have holes for the VESA mount for my new standing desk, and I didn't want to spend hundreds more on the newer version of my monitor; I was pretty close to just drilling holes in it myself, when I did a search on Amazon for "U28D590D mount" and this solution popped right up. It works perfectly. In fact, since the bracket is made of metal, it's much less wobbly than the plastic mount which Samsung provides with the monitor itself! Installation was quick and easy, and I'm using it right now.

Mounted my giant 28" UHD Samsung on an Ergotech Freedom arm. Installation was easy, kit came with all necessary bolts, nuts, washers. VESA plate mounted flawlessly in my arm. The one thing that's a bit weird, and that's not something HumanCentric could have really addressed because it has to do with the way Samsung went about designing the stand mechanism for the UD290. It just sways back ane forth so you can never get that rock solid direct attachment feel that you do with direct mounting. Nonetheless, I thought it was impossible to mount my monitor. HumanCentrc proved otherwise so I am very happy with the result. Thank you for engineering this bracket kit.

I used this for a Samsung non vesa compatible monitor. it is sturdy had did the intended job, by doing to the non-removable Samsung stand. only thing is that the monitor sits a bit high, would be great if the mount adapter had a longer neck (or adjustable) to align with other monitors. note: I'm using this to have 2 screen external monitor set up, just the one I use with this mount is about 1-2 inches higher). I would order again though. good product.

I was a bit worried since I hadn't heard of the seller before. But the product worked exactly as advertised. The only difficult part is removing the original monitor stand. I had too look this up, but there are good video's available that show you how to do this. Once that was done the instructions were quite clear on how to mount the bracket.

This vesa bracket does exactly what I wanted and needed....allowing me to mount a 28" Samsung monitor that otherwise lacked a vesa option. It allowed me to raise the monitor off the desk using a monitor arm, and also to do away with the space consuming and rather wobbly manufacturers stand. There are two points worthy of consideration when planning to purchase this (more shortcomings of the design of the stand connection by Samsung, than of this product itself). The design does bring the monitor forward slightly, meaning that it is not possible to push the screen as far back towards a wall as some others. My second point is connected to my first. If the monitor is relatively heavy (mine is, as stated above, a 28" Samsung, and it's worked out ok, but only just), as it pushes the monitor forward slightly, the monitor arm needs to be strong to make sure that the weight of the screen doesn't cause it to sag / droop. These points don't detract from my opinions of this item though, and I only mention them as things to be aware of when considering your purchase So overall, I think this is an excellent way to mount a non-vesa monitor on an arm or a wall if required.

Similar to what some other people have said, there's some flex with this device (I feel like this is more Samsung's design fault than this adapter. This adapter does exactly what it is meant to do. I applaud them for creating this produce for a niche subsection of monitor users (just a weird quirk of those models of Samsung monitors, which are great monitors but no VESA mount is a weird addition). Thank you for making this and breathing new life in my old (but gold) Samsung monitor.
