I homeschool kids ranging in age from 4-17, and I handed each one of them one of these reading highlight strips! These are helpful not only for emerging readers, but also kids with ADHD and kids whose attention spans have been impacted by the tech-heavy, instant gratification leaning world we live in! I also will grab one when I need to read something and my attention span just isn’t cooperating. They are thick and sturdy, the perfect size for all ages. The colors are a fun touch because each kid could pick their favorite color and they function exactly as I hoped they would!

I homeschool my children and am always on the lookout for quality, low cost items and these definitely fit the bill! I love how they double as both a bookmark and a reading guide for younger readers. It makes it easy to follow along with the text and I enjoy how we didn't need an additional bookmark. The color variety was great as was the size and overall durability. I bought these for my daughter who is recently being diagnosis as Dyslexic. These color screens really seem to help her focus on the reading and she likes that there is a line to help track.

As a former educator, I can say that these can be invaluable!

The size of them feels awkward to me for some reason but I’m not sure why. They’re well-made, though- thick enough to be durable but thin enough to see the words through clearly. And the added line helps me focus so much!

My son has ADHD and really struggles keeping his attention on the right line while reading. He will sometimes use his finger, but I think the color of these are also beneficial for his busy brain. I have noticed he frequently reaches for one of these when he is reading. The plastic film frequently peels off, but we just pull it off and continue using it. It doesn't seem to affect it.
