Charlamagne Tha Godโthe self-proclaimed โPrince of Pissing People Off,โ cohost of Power 105.1โs The Breakfast Club , and โmedia godโ ( Forbes )โshares his eight principles for un Review: Great read - It was a Great read. He has some very very funny experiences. I would recommend this book to anyone. C Review: What are you waiting for??? - You guys have to read #blackprivilege by @cthagod. It's life changing. This book is about how we ALL have the privilege to be who we are! I'm completely obsessed with this book and Charlamagne. I'll be totally honest, speaking my truth, I had no clue who he was until I heard him promote this book on @z100newyork during an interview on @elvisduranshow. I couldn't stop listening. I was pulled in because he is beyond captivating and insightful. And this dude speaks HIS truth, always. And I'm so grateful to know that speaking your truth is acceptable. It doesn't make you a d-bag, or b*tch, or negative, or mean. It means you're speaking your honest wholehearted feelings and truths. He wrote that he's called a de-motivational speaker because he speaks his truth. To that I say - keep doing your think Charlamagne. It's not de-motivational to be real, honest, and authentic. THAT in itself is motivational. Some people don't like to hear the truth. Some prefer to live in a fantasy land. Some people think they know all the answers. But those people are never changing, growing, learning, expanding their knowledge, or living their dreams. I've learned so much from this books and I can't wait to start Principle 4. I'm so glad I was running late for work and heard the interview with @elvisduran because if I didn't I wouldn't be realizing how to find gratitude in all of the good and bad experiences; I wouldn't be realizing that what are perceived mistakes, are truly lessons; I wouldn't be realizing that passion beats all other choices. Thank you. So far I've laughed, I've cried, I've had ah-ha moments, I've been shocked, I've been motivated, and I've felt as though @cthagod is sitting in my meditation room with me just talking and sharing his knowledge with me. You don't want to miss out. Grab a copy fast. He's a NY Times bestseller because of this book. And he deserves it. #inspiration #motivation #blackprivilege #opportunitycomestothosewhocreateit #cthgod #reading #quietmoments #book #bookrecommendation #lessons #principles #learning #growing #hopeful #mindfulness #speakyourtruth #throatchakra

Clear writing. Good advises for personal growth.
My book for 2019. The author is not the most loved in the radio world in the US. Some love him some hate him. But the stories and lessons he give us in his simple writing is amazing. I really advise this book for people who want to learn and grow in what they want to do in their lives professionally or personally.

Hilarious, Inspiring and Practical
I am thankful for our black heroes that use their platform to speak and write about their journeys. In a world that things seem impossible to grasp; books like these allow us to learn and observe the footsteps and decisions they make that got them to where they are now. This book really highlighted the power of having faith and believing in yourself and embracing the greatness God has put inside of you. Black ing you are privileged.

Great read
This is a thoughtful and at times very insightful and funny book that leaves no stone unturned. Great reading for a student and for those wanting to get a bit of insight on how others who may be different for yourselves think.
