I seem to be one of the few reviewers who did NOT get this product for free or at a discount. I'm a "regular" customer who bought this shampoo and conditioner off Amazon myself for full price. About my hair: It is super straight, just past my shoulders in length, and I have bangs. I have thin hair, but a lot of it, if that makes sense. Meaning, it isn't thick like people with curly hair, but it isn't stringy and lifeless, either. Also, I do not suffer from hair loss. But I do suffer from breakage due to blow drying. From age 14-24 I dyed my hair every six weeks at the salon. Then I decided to go back to my natural hair colour, so I dyed my fake bleached blonde to dark brown and then let my natural hair grow out, which took just over a year. I am now 33 yeas old, so I have had my natural hair colour for about eight years. I have been using the typical store bought shampoo and conditioner my entire life. Pantene, Aveeno, L'Oreal, etc. If I don't shower every day, the top of my hair gets weighed down and greasy. The ends, though, are drier from blow drying after almost every shower. So you can imagine, it is hard to find a shampoo and conditioner to help me since most common store bought shampoo and conditioners are targeted for either dry/damaged OR oily/flat/thin hair. One month ago, I decided to try a more natural option. After reading hundreds of reviews of various products on Amazon, I decided to buy this set. It was a gamble because I noticed a lot of the reviewers were given the product for free or at a discount, so I wasn't sure if I could really trust their reviews. They say they're giving honest feedback, but really, when every review is five stars and glowing, it is easy to be skeptical. Also, I'm assuming those reviewers don't use the products long term before giving their feedback, so that also makes it hard to tell if it's a legit good review or not. So I took the plunge and thought, Well, if I want to find out if it will work for me, the only thing I can do is buy it myself. And I'm so glad I did! The smell of both the shampoo and conditioner are amazing. The shampoo lathers great. A small amount really goes a long way. The conditioner - I have to use more than the shampoo to get good coverage, so it probably won't last as long. The conditioner doesn't seem like it's coating my hair, because it isn't very thick, and like I said, I have to use more than the shampoo in order to get what I consider adequate coverage, but I can tell you it still works great. I think after using conditioners with so many chemicals all my life, I've come to expect that in order for conditioner to be effective, it needs to be thick and really coat the hair. However, after using this natural conditioner, I can tell you that isn't the case. It still works super well, even though it isn't super creamy in texture/consistency. I was worried that since my natural hair can get oily fast that this shampoo and conditioner would only weigh it down more and make it flat and greasy faster. Surprisingly, despite all the oils in the ingredients, that is not the case. Also, the shininess and smoothness of my hair is remarkable now. I truly cannot believe the difference. I've used store bought, chemical ridden volumizing shampoo and conditioner before, moisturizing shampoo and conditioner . . . and never has my hair felt this amazing. And it's all due to Art Naturals and their incredible Moroccan Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. I'm not exaggerating. There is also a richness to my natural colour that I've never seen before. The very first time I used this shampoo and conditioner, I thought my hair looked dull after blow drying and felt a bit dried out, but I think that was just the shampoo and conditioner getting rid of all the chemicals from my previous shampoo and conditioner, because ever since that first shower, this shampoo and conditioner have changed my hair for the better. I cannot emphasize enough how happy I am with this shampoo and conditioner set. I recommend it for oily hair, and even for people who lack volume or have dry/split ends due to repeated blow drying. I'm not sure how a shampoo and conditioner can be good for both greasy hair and for dry hair, but this set truly is!

The conditioner leaked from above and also the package received was in soggy condition, raises question over genuineness of the product. But i hope it's the real thing. Edit: Used it and the product was awesome except for the packing issue as highlighted above. This is really good for hair as I can see the improvement it has bought to my hair. Giving 5 stars because of the positive effects.

I've been using this combo since October 2017. And I've used other shampoos and conditioners before this one. Like Suaves almond butter and rosemary mint combos. (It was cheap and probably damaged my hair.) Shea Moistures manuka honey and mafura oil combo. And lastly, Tgins sulfate shampoo and green tea conditioner. The last two weren't bad. But I felt like there were some better combos out there. For around the same price. And I was right. I remember at the time reading articles and hearing about dangerous chemicals they put in a lot of hair products. Most notably shampoo and conditioner. Which is the only thing I've used on my hair, at the time. Now I use Pantenes hair moisterizer spray after showers. It's cheap, and will suffice until I can find a better one. So I stumbled across this product. Looking for an organic/natural shampoo & conditioner. I saw it had a lot of positive reviews and ratings. I think the price is fair. From what I remember, it's always been below $30. I've been buying this for 18 months now. About this shampoo and my conclusion: I've read and have been told by hair stylists. That washing your hair everyday is bad. Because your hair needs natural oil. To be smoother, and healthier. And I've noticed that too. My hair is naturally curly. And after waking up, my hair is often a mess. And I need to wash it, before going out for it to look presentable. Even when I'm using this product 5 times a week. I would think by me overusing it, that I would have dried my hair out by now. But it actually makes it a whole lot softer, the more I use it. The softess I've ever seen it, actually. This product does help hydrate your hair though. Ideally, I'd like to use it only 2-3 times a week. For the best results, for me. From the many times I've purchased this. (Every 3 months on average.) I noticed that the scent can change significantly. Around 3-4 times now. The second to last batch I've ordered, probably had the worst scent. I'm pretty sure they changed some ingredients. As opposed to me just getting a "bad batch". The shampoo lightly smelled of a dolls burning hair and plastic. But after conditioning, washing, and moisterizing my hair. The scent wouldn't stick. Plus, the product seems to be getting better for my hair overtime. Even when the smell may have been less desirable. This product is specially designed to be gentle, with curly hair. The argan oil helps my hair look shiner too. I honestly can't recommend this product enough. 5/5 stars. :)
