It is a robust kind of desk mount, so if you are looking for a strong one, go for it. It stands firmly on the desk and holds a 1.69-pound Shure SM7B mic. The microphone easily fits in your mouth and captures the best voice quality. You can use it either sitting or standing. So, you go for it. The only downside of this product is that the screw on the top of it so tight and not flexible at all. It may take hours and hours to fix it.

This stand is sturdy and handles the weight of my sm7db well. The adjustable height is a great feature, but it might be a bit tall for the sm7db initially. Check your mic stem length before purchasing to ensure it suits your needs.
