As many times as needed, daily even. I find it can last for a couple of days if not touched or wetted. Need to use the same brand fixing spray for proper results.

Is this waterproof or sweatproof? Anyone who tried. Also can this be applied by ourselves?

Not waterproof, front head you can but difficult to do back head
