After plugged in my Tab 2 was only up to 54% after 14 hours. While disconnecting the cable from my tablet, the cable came apart from the plug portion that connects into the tablet. No, I didn't yank on the cord. I held the plug while pulling.

As advertised, works well
Worked as described for an old Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 that I was asked to examine. The tablet was a mess, but the cable worked quite well for both charging and USB connectivity. (Odin, OTOH, was less than handy...)

Issue with charging
Product looked good with a thicker cable (or maybe just the jacket.) Took over 20 hours on charge and still didn't reach 100 percent. It just took a long time to recharge no matter how much existing power was on the battery and now it doesn't work at all. I'd send it back but it's not worth the postage. I'll find another cable (try and find an original Samsung) and go with that. Very disappointed with the product.

Lost my original cable and this works perfect
Lost my original cable and was quite upset about it yet. Amazon has come through again at a very low cost. I was able to locate this cable and within a day I had it and it works perfectly so my android tablet is able to be charged and works perfectly again, so I am extremely grateful.
