Very handy useful tool, recommended purchase
This thing is so handy and inexpensive to purchase everybody should have one. Not only for mechanics, everyone should have one of this unless you never touch under the hood of your car. Makes it simple to check the concentration of coolant once you have mixed your own or done a coolant change and are replacing your coolant. Super easy to use and is cheap made but has lasted so far with multiple uses. Its easy to read and tell the concentration of the coolant mix in your system.

Quality and accuracy.
My old Mac Tools Coolant tester finally failed after 25 plus years. I was hesitant about the quality of the rubber hose and pump on the newer testers. Not working in the automotive field anymore, I didn't have access to the Mac tool truck or Snap 0n, etc. I figured with any manufacturer, the quality won't be the same as it was decades ago as far as the rubber goes. Just my thoughts. I purchased this coolant tester from Prestone a while ago now, and it has performed very well. The reading is the almost exactly the same as on my neighbors Mac tools newer tester, and the rubber quality seems good as well. How long it will last only time will tell, but I am happy that the quality was better than I expected it to be. I only give it four stars as the rubber parts are a bit stiffer and thinner than my old Mac Tools coolant tester, but they are still are solid and flexible enough to seem well built.

This is NOT for Type-A Personalities
If any of you like me, and might have a Type-A Personality then I can assure you this will not work unless you read the instructions. Who reads instructions??? Anyway, I didn't read the manufacturer's instructions on the rear of package and the needle registered all the way to the top. I figured, that just meant it was really concentrated so I said OK. I'm done. Then I was going to leave a review here and state that my unit worked just fine, until I read some other reviews that it should not be reading all the way to the top outside of the markings. So, the next day (today) I went back outside and while my coolant was cool (yesterday it was still hot when i read it), then I read it again and made sure the bubbles were gone and guess what???? It registered within the markings. So, if you don't like to read instructions and may think you know everything, spare yourself and just read the instructions and do it right the first time :D

Works great
Works great, and for a good price relative to others. Takes just a little practice to get it full by squeezing the bulb--no big deal. Highly recommend.

Great value
I doubt this is particularly precise but I’d argue high precision not particularly required for testing anti freeze. Is tremendously easy to use and worth having even if you have a shop do the antifreeze replacement work because I found in my case my shop left me tremendously under protected after some radiator work. Rinse it out after use or it won’t last long term.

Old Favorite and Low Price
I've used several types of Antifreeze Testers over the years and this one is my favorite. This Tester is easier to read, Holds a good quantity of fluid so you can visually check for contaminates & provides a more accurate reading (my opinion). When Testing make sure that fluid completely fills the Tester when held upright, gently tap the Tester Body to shake loose any air bubbles, Hold the Siphon Tube up so your Fluid doesn't drip out & give it a couple of seconds for the "arm" to settle. Reading on 1 side shows how Cold your anti-freeze will protect down to & on the other shows the Boiling Point your engine is protected to. After Testing you can simply squirt the fluid back into your Cooling System. Make sure you then Flush the Tester with clear water to remove any traces of anti-freeze. Taken care of this Tester will last many years for you to use.

It works
It seems to be of decent build quality. The rubber bulb didn't seem old and wasn't cracked like some people experienced. It was accurate enough that it showed my home diluted from concentrate mix was just a little more water than rhe same brand of pre mix. I am satisfied and rhino this is a good tool for your average car owner

Useful little thing around the garage.
I bought this to check the coolant in my marine engine, where leaks could have diluted the coolant and negated its protective effect. Easy to use: pump a little coolant using the attached hand-pump, and read off the level of protection based on the density of the coolant. Reliable, simple, no electronics needed, and reusable. Really a neat tool to have in colder climates, and when you don't know if your coolant was ever diluted with water.
