Really impressed with these. I have contact allergies with plants so always find gardening a literal pain. Theses gloves are great. They are comfy, flexible and go all the way up to my elbow. I can't comment on resistance to knives as I haven't tried cutting them - not what they want them for. I got Large size as I am size 20 and have chunky arms and they fit like a glove parden the pun.

Extremely pleased

I ordered mediums for my partner. The fingers were too short for her - I've attached photos with a ruler so you can judge if they will work for you or not. Looking at that picture again, maybe the ruler is not exactly in the right place, so that middle finger is actually just over 6cm long. I've packed up the return now so I can't take another pic. She thought the long cuffs were a little tight, but then again if they were a sloppy fit they would probably ride down. Just to be clear, "pack of 2" is two gloves, not two pairs! The gloves will fit either hand so if you only want a glove for one hand you can use the second one on the same hand after the first one has worn out. I sent them back so I have no idea how durable they would have been. They felt quite soft and flexible, so I imagine the stainless steel wire in them must be quite fine. I did try to see if they had much wire in them by testing whether they were attracted to a strong magnet, but they weren't. That is not a definitive test for stainless steel though as some forms aren't magnetic. Or at least that's what wikepedia says!

Good, comfortable arm coverage but not able to grab thorns & brambles as they still stick & hurt through the gloves. Don't know if they are cut proof...didn't want to take a knife to them!

I bought these gloves for work in the garden. On the plus side, they are comfortable to wear but that is where the positives end. They do not protect you from nettle stings or even feeblest of thistles - God forbid you ever try them with thorns, your hands would be ripped to shreds. So, in conclusion, these gloves are completely ineffective and do not do what it says on the tin.

As an artist who works with paper/cardboard using a lot of sweeping expressive cuts I need the protection and these work just fine.

I saw these on other sites at twice the price. Highly recommend. Bought 2 pairs I won't use anything else now. I may invest for all my students too. We deal with alit of stinging nettles. Occasionally one sting but on the whole. Brilliant. Haven't tried it with thorns yet! Amazing value for money and feel very comfortable.

They don't protect against rose thorns or similar sharp things. However they do are good for clearing nettles and light abrasions to the skin

Love these we use them to play with our one year old cat protects our arms when we use his puppet/glove to wrestle. He loves it and no scratches for us.

Ohne diese Handschuhe kann ich mir das Gärtnern nicht mehr vorstellen. Hände und Arme werden nicht zerkratzt und auch nicht heiß.
