Tower T838005G Sensor Bin with Retainer Ring, Battery-Operated, 50L, Grey

I’m really happy with this tower sensor bin. It arrived quickly and was very well packaged. The setup was simple and straightforward, and it looks sleek and modern in my kitchen. The sensor works reliably and responds quickly, which makes it very convenient and hygienic to use, especially when cooking. It opens smoothly and quietly, and the size is just right for everyday use. Overall, it’s a great quality product that combines practicality with a stylish design. I would definitely recommend it.

Purchased on special offer so price was really good. Purchased the white but would say that is not as bright white a the image more of a creamy white. Easy to install batteries and a bit fiddly to insert the bin liner but will get used to it, opening and closing of the bin works like a treat, so good to have hands free use of a bin. Great size especially for a family, seems sturdy enough. Lets hope the battery life is good so don’t have to keep changing batteries time will tell. Looks great in my kitchen would recommend

In principle it looks great. Has a nice design and good quality. It doesn't look cheap The issue is the sensor for the automatic opening...it's way too sensible and opens up even if you are like 15 inches away... You just pass by walking in front of it and it opens the lid.. Maybe if you have a huge kitchen but for smaller places this can be annoying. Every time you pass by it opens and then closes...fyy it doesn't have an sensor that keeps the lid open while you are throwing away trash, it stays open for a set amount of time then closes which can be annoying. Although it does the job on being a practical way to throw away trash, I'm however not convinced this is the best model for those with smaller flats and kitchens...I would try and buy a more expensive model with better sensors

This is a really nice,modern looking,easy to use,automatic,waste bin !!! A very nice upgrade to my kitchen bin,which was definitely needed in my case. It has made a massive difference from the swing lid bin I had,and it's so much more hygienic aswell,being as you literally do not have to touch it,unless you change the bag or clean it.....Amazing !!! It looks great,it wipes down and cleans well,the bag is hidden inside wrapped over a retainer ring....It works fantastic !!!....And,it's the perfect size and colour I needed,what more can you ask for ??? It's also really well made,the top is lightweight but all together,quite heavy duty and top quality,in my honest opinion !!!.....It's worth every penny I paid for it,as far as I'm concerned !!! You will have to buy 4-AA batteries for the lid,so the more you use it,the more batteries you will need over time....Obviously !!!....But,for prolonged use,you can turn it off by a switch under the battery box and just keep the lid up until your finished,then just turn it back on again,simple !!! I ended up buying a charger with 8 rechargeable batteries and I just swap them over when I need to and recharge them....I always got batteries whenever I need them,sorted !!! Overall....If you're looking for a sleek,modern,quality,automatic bin,then there's no need to look any further !!! I'm really happy with mine. Thanks !!!

Lovely looking addition to my kitchen. Unfortunately when I tried to change batteries the bin lid stopped working. I had only had it for 1 year. A new lid would cost more than the original bin. Disappointing for good named item

Amazingly good bin. Not too sensitive and good ideal for home use and very efficient. One improvement that could have been good is it could have been metal but is plastic

The front sensor is placed too low in respect of even toddlers are captured in beam. Consequently it opens regularly and an effective play toy. The quality if good and I would also select a replacement if Tower provided a top beamed item.

works fine but is mostly fragile, a small cog which is plastic broke and without this the lid wont open and I can even buy this spare part as the manufacturer said they dont have it or are not sure if they'll even stock it. The sensor is completely useless now, I am trying to find someone to print this using a 3d printer now :/ Knowing this I wont be buying another, it is perfect while it works though.
