Best clothesrail on the market
Trustworthy brand. Sturdy design and loads of hanging surface. Can be collapsed flat so saves a lot of space.

Good for small spaces
Although this dryer holds a great number of items it takes up a smallish area. It was easy to put together and so far is sturdy.

Early days but as advertised
Fairly lightweight so easy to move. I have not had the problems others have mentioned. It was a 2 week wait from amazon Germany, Evri ACTUALLY delivered - albeit left against doorframe and picture taken - caught on doorcam before I could open door. It is massively tall - way wider than expected and does what I want it to. I also have the largest Leifheit foldout airer - between them they cover everything. Easily worth the £62 I paid, hope I can get another one. The style IS flimsy, but will hold a remarkable weight before buckling. If you want to dry big heavy towels, either use a whole side or drape over top - ditto duvet covers etc. For smaller items - perfect. The hanger bits are quite good too.

Will this stand the test of time?
It took me a bit to figure out how to make this work, there are no instructions. However the gist of it is that the horizontal bits have to be pushed inwards to pull back out & slot onto the bracing brackets. A little concerning as to how easy it was to bend the metal. I bought it with the main intention of folding down one side & placing it against the wall. In that position it seems to want to fall backwards to the wall. The rungs where you hang the washing seem to be very flimsy & I'm not sure they would take the weight of a wet sweatshirt for example. So far I've only hung t-shirts & underwear and we're ok. Just not sure this is going to stand the test of time. The money and the brand name were what drew me to this particular airer. I'm wondering if I should have looked elsewhere. Oh & it took over a month to arrive - but that's not the reason for the poor review, it's just an fyi - don't buy this if you're in a rush! A small addition to this review. I have now used it to hang some sweatshirts and although the airer held up well under the weight, I discovered that the horizontal racks are so close together, the item hung on one rack drags onto the rack underneath. It means you can't hang items on every rung as the items would be bunched together and wouldn't dry properly. I'm glad I bought the taller rack as it means I can hang on the top rails and the one up from the bottom, missing out the middle and bottom ones without running out of drying space. If I had the smaller rack I feel I would have found the space really didn't work for me.

Not worth the money at all. Cheap and flimsy,
Expected a Vileda product to be good quality and chose this expensive washing dryer on that basis. It is flimsy as anything. The wire racks are so thin they bent just opening it out (I was not heavy handed). Can’t imagine they will all stay attached for long. The wheels are flimsy and do not roll well. All in all this was expensive and I feel I’d have been better off buying a cheap generic airer. It’s also got much less drying space than appears from the photos. One family wash has filled it so definitely does not hold as many washes as the product copy suggests.

1 year and still going strong
I like this model because it allows to fold only half of it, it is very useful in small places because it is very tall and foldable. Every time I move I try to find a vertical clothes rack and this is a good one even if the quality is not superlative.

Poor, flimsy, disappointed
Very disappointed with this product. I expected something with a Vileda name to be better than this. The racks when lifted out in position are barely strong enough to support themselves, the wires are so thin. The tiny wheels must be the cheapest castors available, moving the dryer is more like dragging it and as the packaging says there are no spares available I doubt the longevity of the dryer.

The best thing about this rack are: wheels & ability to open and use only half the rack. I often do small loads & not having to unfold the whole rack saves space. The foldable hooks on the side are also super helpful. Rack is steady and can be moved around easily thanks to the wheels. To note: attention the little metal rods are a bit fragile. I did break one on day one - once you know you can’t tug clothes off, but lift, voilà. I’ve been using this rack for more than a year now haven’t broken any other rods.

It's a little flimsy, but nothing serious. It fits 24 kitchen towels together with a week worth of socks for 3 people, 4 dresses and 8 dress shirts. In the spare room next to the towels (why don't they measure towels before making these things, theres always half a towel of room left) I have 24 kitchen rags. So it really is a big rack, yet it does fit through my bedroom door when I want to move it to the balcony. I was a little surprised when it turned out to be higher than I am, but that's actually very nice, because it gives more space between the rows. I would like give 4,5 stars to his product. Half star less because of the flimsiness.
