WORKS WITH VR!
I bought a HTC Vive only to find that the HDMI connection didn't work with my ASUS TUF F15 because the GPU output is only through the USB C (I know, why? Just why?). So after a bit of reddit, I find someone suggesting one of these, grabbed it and it all worked perfectly If you're having similar issues, this is probably why. Apparently the HDMI output on laptop only uses CPU, so the GPU powers the game and your laptop screen and the CPU powers the output to your T.V if you have a HDMI connected. Hope this helps.

Macbook pro to 27inch Imac
I love the braided cable, really high quality feel. Worked first time connecting macbook to Imac. Screen just instantly sprang to life. Quick delivery, well packaged and protected. Nice secure fitting to mackbook USB-c unlike some other connectors I have bought which worry me when I have to push them to fit.

sturdy cable
this is a braided cable which I'm using to attach my 2017 iMac to a much older one so I can use the older one as a second screen - instead of £200 for a new 28" monitor I've spent £15 on a cable and have a high quality monitor which matches my iMac - ideal!

Superior quality, the braided cable will make it very durable. Connected an old iMac to a new MacBook with it, works perfectly!

I don't doubt it looks a decent cable but I couldn't get it to function. I followed all the instructions to link iMac to MacBook Pro but it wouldn't share the screen unfortunately
