Noah, a farmer and family man, is instructed by an angel to build an ark in the middle of a desert in order to save his family and the faithful from a devastating flood a seemingly impossible task, especially when his sons refuse to believe him and lend their help. Awesome Movie!
I loved this movie. I loved the way the family was portrayed. I saw other versions of Noah's Ark, and I liked this one the best. I have watched more than once. I like the actors in the movie. They acted like a typical family. There was a little humor in it too. I am glad that I purchased this movie.

Exceptionally well done, but not accurate
As other reviewers have said, there was no Kenan. The portrayal of the animals was so life-like and quite beautiful in a way, it made me burst into tears, although you don't see much of them unfortunately. The actors/actresses were all fantastic. The movie may have gotten some of the family names wrong and for sure got the number of people on the ark wrong. I believe the animals came before the rains started. And where was the dove? I also wish they hadn't described the sons bedroom-activity in a couple scenes, not graphically but the wife says the word “sex” once and the brothers tease each other about where the married couple does it if not in their room. Definitely not for little ears! I get where the frustrated reviewers are coming from but I'm just so happy to see a Biblical story done so well that I'd happily give it 5 stars if not for the whole "Kenan" story, and some of the other details. I agree with other reviewers in that it is by far better than all the other Noah movies.

Disappointed
So disappointed. .we turned it off after the scene where Noah's son and his wife discuss their sex life. Furious they mar up a beautiful story with smut. What does this have to do with a story that should be holy? These kinds of things are unacceptable in a movie that we would love to show our children. They would have done better to give it an epic feeling like Ben Hur or the Ten Commandments. It just shows the heart and the spiritual condition of the writers and producers.

Apparently God’s version was t difficult
Good movie of love and loyalty but it didn’t follow the Bible. Why not??? It showed 4 sons instead of just the three in the Bible. One rebelled and stayed with a girl in the city and died in the flood. Also people showed up to get in the ark and camped out before the flood came. Noah had them all get in the ark with his family when it started storming. Not in the Bible. Why can’t they just stick to the story ??
