Good Overall Hammer
Even though this hammer is made in Mexico, it has a good head weight to handle weight ratio. I use it for small, delicate projects. This hammer fits into its own category in between a small lightweight sledge and a 26oz. general use hammer. It's a quality made and practical. A small project pounder if you will. Yes, keep this tool in your home toolbox and/or in the car for those delicate poundings. Would recommend to those who need a lightweight comfortable tapper.

Tap tap tap. Works perfectly.
I bought this on impulse a year or two ago, and can't believe how much use I gave it. It works perfectly when I want to hammer something "just a bit". Such as assembling something, or marking the centre on my pen blanks. Very happy I got this.

Does the job
Solid hammer. I use it frequently when I am worried about marring finishes. I also like the weight for using it with my chisels in woodworking. It is an excellent choice and value.

Poor workmanship
The product itself seemed good, however there was a large industrial staple protruding from the top of the hammer where it was placed into the wooden top part of the handle. Definitely will catch on things. Will try to file it down to smoothen out the awkward and dangerous angle of the staple. For the price, this shouldn’t have been an issue.
