I read the reviews on this, good and bad, prior to purchasing. I must say I was a little concerned based on some of the comments; however, I made the decision to purchase it anyway knowing I could return it. When it arrived it was nicely packaged. Yes, I had to iron the bed skirt and did follow the advice and ironed the comforter once I had it on the bed. It turned out beautifully. I could not be more pleased with the color, the way it fits, as well as the quality. I think perhaps the packaging may have been changed since some of the reviews as it arrived packaged in the same manner as the bedding one would purchase at any store. The wrinkling is what I have experienced with all comforter sets, no more, no less. I was very pleased and it is a very beautiful set. I cannot comment on the quality above stating it seems to be nicely made. The stitching is well done and I have found no issues. Based on my experience and the fact that it is a lovely set I would highly recommend it.

This is easily the BEST and MOST BEAUTIFUL bed set I've ever owned, without having to pay upwards of $500. It's extremely elegant and improves the look and vibe of the room immediately. I plushed it out even more by adding four extra, contrasting pillows. I feel like a princess or queen in my bed. In fact, I may have to remodel the whole house to meet this new standard. (Just kidding.) This bedding is a DREAM — no joke and pun definitely intended. I love it. It goes very well with my mahogany bedroom furniture and mauve walls, although I'm thinking of repainting. There's a ceiling fan above my bed; but, were there not, I'd consider replacing the fixture with a crystal chandelier or something glass and gorgeous. This truly is a stunning set and the quality is outstanding. The entire set is factory embroidered or woven like a tapestry. It's not a print. Because of the fine weaving and/or thread design, you do have to take extra care and caution against snags and pulls. That means no sharp nor rough objects on the bed. I'm even careful with my jewelry and fingernails, because I do not want to damage this lovely bed covering. I'm blown away by the quality and attention to detail. The fabric feels like silk. If you buy it, you will be delighted — unless you're not one for handling nice things with care. This bed set is EXTREMELY NICE.

This is the second set I've purchased. First time was 3 years ago wirh a queen size in blue for my guest room and my stepdaughter loved it so much I gave it to her. It still looks brand new even after washing. I then purchased one for my king size master bedroom in gold. THE BEST SETS EVER!!!!! They look, feel and wash amazing! I even spot clean the decorative pillows. I was a retail buyer for 30 years and know what to look for and what quality is and this is it. This set ever runs out I'm going to buy another one!

The blue Aubrey is a beautiful comforter and the King size fit my adjustable bed and thick mattress perfectly. I am giving this item four stars for two reasons. First, the color is iridescent, which I noticed in some reviewers photos, but couldn't be sure until seeing the material in person. The side facing our large sunny windows makes the comforter look like a shiny, Robin-egg blue color. Beautiful! But the side that faces away from the light looks like a colonial Williamsburg blue-gray color and more dull. Just be aware the color looks different depending on light and direction. Secondly, I don't think the wrinkles will ever come out, even with using a steam iron, because I am a restless sleeper and my bedspread moves around with me at night. The embroidery stitching is high quality, but the fabric itself isn't soft enough to avoid wrinkling. I love the overall look, but will opt for a softer comforter when it's time to replace this one.

I liked the quality of comforter and pillows, the flange is a brown color on pillows, it doesn’t match my bedroom, the comforter looks good with my white items . The whole set will look good together, just not on my bed. I do love comforter and it was a fabulous price!

This comforter set was sent to my house within days of the order which made me one happy gal. The set is for our guest bedroom. I was very iffy about the color beige since I had been wanting gold but I decided to take the chance because the set looked so beautiful in the photos. I’m glad I did. It is stunning. The beige glistens and gives off a goldish sheen and is complimented by the pretty glistening taupe design with the most lovely delicate embroidery of small peach and sky blue flowers. We usually spend a lot more on fully upholstered sets but I just didn’t want to this time when I saw this set and all that comes with it. It really is gorgeous. One tip, though, the European shams are listed as 26x26. They are much bigger than that. The European 26x26 lskpillows we have were too small so I actually left the former thick sham on the pillow and inserted it into the European sham that came with the set and it fit perfect. So either get larger pillows for the sham or do what I did. Also, because I really don’t like wrinkles at all, I did have to steam iron the bed skirting and also one of the pillows. It took no time at all. Love this comforter set.

So I just opened the box with the bedding inside. I specifically ordered the gold because I wanted a very golden bed. Unfortunately, at first I thought they delivered the wrong color. After confirming via photos on website- the “gold” is actually “Aubrey”. The packaging does not say gold at all! So, if you are looking for gold in this set- there is none! The color is a nude brown with sheen. The accent colors are beige with very subtle hints of blue and pink. That being said, it is pretty but very wrinkled and flattened by the means of shipment. The materials are vacuumed sealed and everything is as flat as possible. I am trying to fluff out pillows and the bed skirt right now in the dryer but I am not confident in that. If I were to place on the bed now it would look very cheap, wrinkled, flat and poor quality- because of the vacuum seal. I think that is a definite mistake on the part of the seller. It has taken away from the beauty of the stitching. The comforter is about a half inch thick in fluff. So I would say it is on the minimal side of fluffiness. I will try to unflatten it in dryer also. In short- it does seem a nice bedding set but is ruined by shipment. And the color is entirely misleading.

WE are VERY picky...and looked at every comforter set on the internet and we couldn't find just what we wanted. That is, until I happened upon this set by Chic Home. The comforter itself is actually heavy and the entire set is made well and looks really expensive! We ordered a new King Saatva adjustable bed and it fits great....now waiting on our frame...(ordered from Amish Family business and it takes 6-8 weeks...) otherwise I would have posted a photo. (would have loved it if a set of blue shear curtains would have been included or available....it's a hard color to match...so have to go with beige.) VERY very happy!!
