Zoo Med Repti Bark, 4qt

I have used this product for my box turtle for 20 years and it is great. I wouldn't consider a different brand.

It very nice and it lasted like a month before I had to change it out... It's healthy I never had any problems with my snake with it.. It's so cheap too if I looked somewhere else it would have been so much more.. It was easy to use too!!!..

We use this as the top layer of substrate for our crested gecko's terrarium. I don't have any live plants in there and this sits on top of a mesh liner to separate it from the hydroballs on the very bottom of the tank. Overall, it is very easy to work with. I liked the price point and the fact that it can be reused; but for the price point, I won't feel bad if I need to buy more versus cleaning what I have. For our 12x12x18 tall terrarium, I used about half a bag. Like I said, I don't have any live plants, so I can't speak as to how well it hold moisture for such an application, but my gecko has never bothered it nor seemed interested in trying to eat it. It helps hold in moisture so it keeps her tank humid, even though we only spray it once in the morning and once before bed. It has a very pleasing color and it makes her terrarium look beautiful and natural. I would highly recommend this to other crestie owners for it's price point, durability, appearance and low maintenance.

I purchased this as I didn't know how to care for our classroom lizard, but the information on product fit what we needed and it was fine. easy to clean and lasts a week or longer depending on how many reptiles there are per tank.

These bark pieces are significantly smaller than other reptile bark bedding. Since I'm using it as soil additive for house plants, this is really ideal for me! Pieces seem to be in the quarter to half inch range, while most other barks are half to whole inch in size. It's a little more beefy than traditional bark fines that are used in bonsai and house plants, but so much cheaper and doubles as small orchid bark. This is the 4th brand of report reptile bark I've tried and is by far my favorite. It did come very moist in the bag, so it needs to be opened right away and allowed time to air out if it's not being used right away.

Normalmente acquisto il materiale per il mio geco presso i negozi specializzati, ho voluto provare questa volta ad acquistare on line. Spedizione velocissima e prodotto conforme alla descrizione. Sicuramente lo riacquisterò sicuramente.

Il miglior substrato che abbia mai acquistato. L’avevo già provato grazie al mio allevatore di fiducia, poi ho cambiato marca ma non mi sono trovata bene. Questo substrato trattiene l’umidità, non lascia molta polvere ed è facile da pulire! Unica pecca, prezzo un po’ troppo alto e minimo d’acquisto di 3 confezioni! Inoltre la spedizione è stata come sempre impeccabile, era prevista per domani (lunedì) ma è arrivata con un giorno d’anticipo (domenica) il corriere ha anche fatto una foto del posto in cui ha lasciato il pacco! Davvero tutto ottimo! Amazon ottimo!
