Hot enough and keeps it hot. The number on the digital display shows 35-48,the bubbles did not cause a splash issue.This is a wonderful machine and works well

How can this be cleaned?

When I wash the foot bath spa, i always use clean water to clean the basin, and keep the basin dry before storing.

you can just soak, just turn bubble and massage features off
