Perfect replacement
Perfect replacement part! Fits my Igloo cooler just right and seals up nice and tight — no leaks at all. The threaded cap is secure, and I love that it has a tether so you don’t lose it. Installation was super easy, just make sure to measure your cooler’s drain hole size before ordering. Works exactly as expected!

Igloo MaxCold 60 Wheeled Cooler - Fit After Adding O-Ring & Shim
This was an exact replacement for the drain plug assembly on my blue & white MaxCold 60 wheeled cooler, though I had to modify slightly. Modifications: adding an O-ring & plastic shim between outside of cooler & hex head) so I could tighten fully. Oddly, the replacement was dimensionally identical to my original, but when tightened it still slid back and forth laterally approx. 1/8". (Best guess is shrinkage or impact over the years reduced cooler wall thickness?!) Adding the O-ring & shim to the outside took up enough slack that I was able to tighten the nut & washer inside the cooler without overtightening. Overall a high quality item & one thing I love about Igloo is that they offer replacement parts!

Igloo replacement thread
I purchased the Igloo Replacement Threaded Drains for my cooler because the original drain was damaged, and this replacement worked perfectly. It was easy to install and did exactly what I needed it to do. If your cooler drain is broken and you don’t want to buy a whole new cooler, this is a simple and effective solution.
