I own four Australian Labradoodles. Over the cold, icy winter that we just experienced, my dog’s hair grew and became matted in many places. Dreaded the thought of trimming them. If you have been grooming your pets with every day priced scissors…do your self a favor…spend the extra money and purchase yourself a set of Chris Christensen Classic Scissors. I did! WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Not only do they cut clean through, all the way to the tip…it is like cutting through butter! No strength need to cut through thick, matted hair…no pulling! I never knew how thinning/chuncker scissors were suppose to work, until know. 100 % worth the extra money! I no longer procrastinate trim

I’m not a groomer but have two large golden doodles that I groom regularly. Last time I ordered purple dragon and they were dull after 2 cuts. I decided to invest in a better set since it is a tedious job that I will continue to do, so Instead of purchasing a bunch of cheap ones, I got these. They arrived within one day. I was so excited to use them when they arrived. That’s when the issues began: 1. The ring in the thumb hole of the straight pair won’t even stay in tact, the chunker will not close, after losing tension and tightening, neither way closes and they catch when you close them creating a grind to the edges. All are heavy and uncomfortable. I couldn’t imagine doing more than one dog in a day with these. I will be returning these the day after receiving them.

Sharp and cuts nicely. Worth the money. Got tired of buying mid tier shears over and over again. Finally bit the bullet and got professional grade. Worth every penny.

I have two American Cocker Spaniels in show coat and groom and trim every week (plus brush almost every day). I have purchased several scissor sets and individual packaged curved scissors. No mater how much I have spent, the scissors just slid through the hair and pushed the hairs away. This set is a game changer! I am so impressed! I love, love, love the curved scissors and the smaller thinners. I haven’t worked much with the others and I’m certain there is a learning curve for the large chunking scissors, but I wish I had never spent the money on the cheap ones. These are so worth the money!!!!
