MUST-HAVE for S7 Edge | Save your phone from the dreaded slip of death
Absolutely fantastic case for the S7 Edge. I purchased the S7 Edge International Variant and was struck by how gorgeous the phone was. This awe partly made up for how insanely slippery the phone is. The side rims are dialed down to the absolute minimum to make space for the edge curving screen--which means that there's precious little to hold onto. On top of this the phone is glass front and back, and the sides are made of metal which doesn't have terrific grip by itself anyway. Using the phone was a bit troublesome because of the lack of grip, but even putting the phone onto surfaces that weren't straight (like a sofa, or a bed when someone sat on it, or on your lap in the car) was treading on a slippery slope (zing) because the phone would easily slide off and fall down. This case gave the phone great grip, both in my hand and on surfaces. Additionally, it added barely any weight or increase in the dimensions of the phone. I could have easily solved this same issue by making my phone a bulky tank, but this case lets me have functionality whilst not compromising on aesthetics. It's quite protective in its own right--I have dropped the phone plenty of times while the case has been on with not a single scratch to account for (with no screen protector yet, mind you). The only gripe that I have with the case is that the logo on the inside of the case tends to etch itself onto the back glass panel of the phone. This means when you take it off the logo is kind of still on the back of the phone, but a couple seconds of rubbing takes it off. It's not nearly bad enough of a trait for me to deduct a star--so I leave it as a five. Summary: + Grip Improvement + Aesthetics not much affected + Low-profile case + Protection - Weird Logo temporarily etched onto back glass after long use

Not a bad case, just not what I was looking for. - UPDATED REVIEW - Boy was I wrong about this case!
**UPDATED REVIEW**6/15/16- When my original review came out, and I received an almost immediate response from Spigen offering to make things right, I decided to give this case another shot. I've used it exclusively as my daily driver for the last two weeks and it has taken everything I have thrown at it. There is a lot more to this case than I thought. Yep, it's very light and it doesn't look like much but over the past two weeks it has proven itself to be my new daily case. It has turned out not to be as slick as it was originally- maybe I just had to use it more, but I haven't had any problems holding it or using my phone when it was sitting on my desk. Actually I don't think I have dropped my phone at all while using this case, which is really what you want in a good case. It has turned out to be remarkably comfortable. It is not much bigger than the phone itself and slides in and out of my pocket easily, but I can still grab it with no issues when I need to pull it out of my pocket. The back is smooth enough so it does not catch on anything but the upper and lower back edge is slightly rougher so it is easy to pick up- but those rougher edges are almost inlaid into the case so they do not stick out. The outside edges are raised just enough to ensure that the screen does not touch the desk when my phone is upside down. It is very easy to take out of the case (i.e. to clean the phone) but it does not come out when I don't want it to come out. So this is a situation when I return to a review and hang my head and admit I was wrong- this is a lot better case than I thought, and considering it costs a lot less than the other two cases I have, I'm very impressed! I have upgraded my review to 5 stars- all things considered this is a great case.** I have had more cases for this phone than I can count, trying to find the "right" one. The reviews for this were excellent so I went for it on a daily deal. Well, it's okay- I thought it would be a bit bigger, to make me feel more secure, but it's not (although to be honest there are not a lot of big cases for this phone). It looks to be made well, and it fits on the phone well, but I am not convinced that it is the best one I have tried. I have two other cases I swap out regularly: an Otterbox Commuter, and a Tech21 EvoFrame. I like the Commuter because it is just solid but it's a bit bigger. The Tech21 is kind of rubbery and provides a pretty good grip for the phone. My first case was an Otterbox Symmetry, which I returned because it was just too slick for me. This Spigen case is almost the same way- I don't feel like I have a really good grip on the phone, so more than likely I won't use it a lot. I am sure it's a good case but it is just not for me. I will continue to try it out though, and will update this review if my opinion changes.

Rugged case but not as user friendly
This phone case is amazing. It looks classy and elegant. The surface is smooth, so it's comfy to hold for long. It's really rugged and well built. If you're the kind of person who drops their phone often then you need this. It has an airpocket for cushioning so your phone doesn't take any impact during a fall. It's also well snug and fits the phone well. It has a lip at the top and bottom of the case so if your phone falls the screen doesn't touch the ground, but the lip does. Yet, the lip is small enough that it doesn't prove inconvenient. The camera is also well protected by a plastic/ hard rubber rim. The case is a little too snug and doesn't work well with my screen protector. It refuses to wrap around the protector so my protector sticks over the edge a little which defeats the purpose. Basically, the case is so perfectly built that a 0.1 mm screen protector makes the case not fit well. My other issue with it is the hole for the audio jack is a little too small. While it might fit newer aux cables, it won't work with older ones where the cable's jack was a little thicker. Now I use a bluetooth headset so that's not a problem though.

Reasonable protection without adding undue mass
Not much here not to like. The case fits snugly and adds very little to the overall mass of the phone while still offering reasonable protection. The case is smooth without being overly slippery and rubbery without being overly tacky. The raised edges at the top and bottom keep the screen off of surfaces when laying face-down, and the edge protection seems decent while still allowing for the edge menu features. All button presses are as easy as they were without a case. All ports are easily accessible as well. It's not quite as sharp looking as the "naked" phone, but it's stylish enough, and the carbon fiber-esque accent bits are a nice touch. It also is much improved over my previous experience with a spigen case in one key area: I picked up a spigen case for my Note 7 (whoops!) and mostly enjoyed it for the brief time I had the phone. That case was a bit sturdier than this one, however, and had one glaring flaw: the cutouts at the bottom were unnecessarily sharp and rough. I tent to cradle the phone with my pinky underneath, and actually developed a callous where it rested. Ultimately, I liked that case enough in spite of that flaw to give another (less sturdy) model a shot when I had to replace the Note 7. As I hoped, this less rugged version was just softer enough on the bottom to not be as irritating to hold. If you want more protection than this case, you may want to steer clear of their sturdier model unless you can hold one for yourself and see if the issue persists.

Spigen always makes great products. I got my S7 Edge from T-Mobile ...
This case is legit. Spigen always makes great products. I got my S7 Edge from T-Mobile early and the case fits the phone beautifully. Nice and snug. The sides along the edges are not loose and flimsy like a lot of other cases for the edge phones are. I'm not worried about the phone coming out of the case at all if I drop it. I'm also confident it will protect the phone. The cutouts are nicely sized and positioned and my headphones and chargers plug in with no issues. From the pictures I saw, I thought that the speaker cutout would be a bit too small, but that is not the case at all (pun intended). The buttons are clicky and are not hard to push. The case looks and feels AMAZING. The carbon fiber accents are beautiful and the back of the case feels fantastic and high quality. The sides have a kind of chamfered feeling and it makes the phone a pleasure to hold. If you're looking for a functional, beautiful case that will protect the phone without adding bulk, this is definitely the case for you. Highly recommended.

If you have a black or silver S7 this is for you very nice!!!
Finally!!!!! I've gone through 3 cases trying to find the right one causeI am picky, but hey it's an $800 phone so can't have it out here looking cheap. Will let me give you all the different genres of protection and cases so look no more. This is perfectly molded and looks so sexy..the edges cover the frame perfect so that you still have the aesthetic look of the edge...Now for protection this is not that case its for looks and minimal protection which is perfect for me cause I hate bulky cases... why get a beautiful phone and cover it up, with that being said if you do want a premium case with protection you have cases like uag and poetic but they are bulky not like otter box bulky but not thin well my version of thin..so thats my take cause I saw a lot of reviews of people saying they dropped it and it broke, like bru if you are that clumsy don't get a premium phone get a Motorola they take hits I have had this phone since april not one scratch just recently bought a black onyx cause I had gold one and when I seen this case I said this is perfect black on black. Some companies say thin fit but no so thin, also check out their other cases. Spigen is the best with having different options for everyone from thin to clear to bulky, ok I've ranted to long and law and order is coming on so have a good day

Inexpensive case with some minor issues
UPDATE: T-Mobile Delivered my Phone today 3/3 - Have to Love Early delivery: UPDATE: 3/9 - It is causing major issues with my ZAGG HD Screen Protection When I put this case on my phone after I had the ZAGG HD screen protection on it, for some reason the hard edges on the side tend to lift up the corners and sides off ZAGG Screen Protector on my phone. I do not have this issues with my Otterbox Commuter. I can only assume because the otterbox has both a soft rubber cover on the inside and hard cover over it. Needless to say I have given up on this case as an option for my phone. Based on having phone in hand: My opinion has not changed much, most of what I wrote still applies: I am not impressed at all by this case. It is a cheap case, and by the feel of it, was much cheaper to make. - The Carbon fiber looks almost like it was a sticker put on, (put it next to a light source and you will notice this) - They claim Rugged Armor, and it may be ok for the corners and back, but do not expect any protection for the front - The lip is just enough to protect the front screen, but I have my doubts from even a minimal height. The corners at least look protected - It is drop tested? I guess they took special care not to hit the face of the unit, I do not see much of a lip if any, granted this is a hard phone to protect the front due to its sides. Overall it's a decent looking case, but forced me to go out and buy an Otterbox Commuter to use when I travel for work. I do NOT work for company, just check my feedback and see my reviews on pervious cases :) Pros: - It's a very small form factor and fits the phone well - all butons and ports are exposed nicely - It does offer a minimal amount of slip protection when on a table Cons: - It feels and looks a little cheap - If you drop it on the corners, you might be OK, but I believe it's false marketing to advertise this as a "rugged case" - The imitation carbon fiber looks more like a sticker pasted on I stick with my initial impression before I received my phone

Not Too Bulky, Not Too Slim, But That's A Good Thing
Case fits snug. It's comfortable to hold. I actually think it improves the grip over the naked S7 Edge. The front upper and bottom lips provide sufficient lift when phone is face down on a flat surface. The material also provides a little grip on slick surfaces to keep the phone from sliding. I've had many other cases that provide more surface friction, but the friction this case provides should be adequate for most situations. As for drop protection, for what the phone design allows, this is about as good as one could expect for mid-level of protection. It's better than the plastic thin cases that snap into place, but it doesn't provide as much protection as those truly "rugged" cases. This is more of a perfect balance between slim-fit and heavy-duty. Don't be deceived by the "Rugged" in the name. Access to ports is good, although I the headphone jack may be an issue for a small minority of headphones with large strain reliefs (the fat plastic part connected to the metal tip). Wireless charging works. Bottom line is if you understand the limitations of the phone's design and want more protection than those super thin plastic cases can provide, but don't want to tote around a bulky, military-grade case, this case should work very well for you.

Another win for Spigen!
An awesome case for people who don't like extra bulk. With the S7 Edge's curved screen, finding a case without extra bulk around the home button is tough. My previous case came from a mall kiosk and it had a giant 'chin' so-to-say near the home button. I was so relived when I got this case as it made it feel like a normal phone again. The buttons are very easy to depress, and the matte/textured finish on the case makes it easy to hold in the hand. I had this same case for a Nexus 6P and an iPhone 6s, and didn't hesitate to purchase it again for my S7 Edge. Spigen has always been my go-to when it comes to phone cases..there's something about them that attracts me. Maybe it's the minimalistic design with the functionality of security..who knows. Either way, Spigen is the first I turn to when looking for phone cases.
