I'm a brand-new spinner. I bought this so I could learn the craft and I love it. It's super easy to work with and makes a lovely yarn. It's quite soft and feels lovely. I gave some to a friend who is also learning to spin, and she really likes it as well. I will buy more of this as I progress in skill since it is so reasonably priced. In addition, I found the amount of roving to be far more than I had expected. I would imagine that a more accomplished spinner would be able to make some beautiful yarn with this roving. For me, it makes a very pretty, albeit lumpy 'art yarn'. But I will get better with practice and this roving will give me the opportunity for lots of practice!

I’m a beginner spinner and this wool was easy to work with. I appreciate how evenly the fibers are laid out, and the drafting was smooth for me. The wool is very clean and there’s no debris or discoloration. The color is consistent, natural undyed wool color. I have not tried dyeing this wool but may try in the future. The staple length is about 4-5 inches. I’m using a medium-to-heavy wooden drop spindle, and the fibers worked out to a great DK or light worsted weight.

I am so happy with the quality of this merino wool!! Its so soft and so plush. It does not smell at all and the color is bright. It arrived on time and well packaged. I am making a blanket for my little boy. I try to only use natural fibers in my home. So happy I found this Seller!! ❤️ Totally recommend this product.

Wonderfully soft wool roving. Much better quality than another one I purchased at the same time. I used the wool for needle felting, and it works really well. No complaints.

The wool roving is soft and a good value but it had a strong persistent sheep smell that did not go away! Perhaps after vigorous washing it would resolve,but I would not buy again.

Natural-colored, ivory (not bleached or paper-white) merino wool. It came in a bag inside a box, so there's no friction rubs on the fiber. Shipping took a few weeks and two attempted returns due to lack of communication, however, so be ready for a potentially very long wait.
