Seirus Innovation Original Mask with Adjustable Velcro Closure

I've bought several of these masks over the years so I have one for each jacket that I wear during the cold weather. The masks have Velcro so they fit tight. There is a hole for your nose and small holes around the mouth which help with not fogging up your glasses. The material is great for drying quickly since your exhaled breath creates a lot of moisture. Additionally, it folds easily to store in an inner jacket pocket or whichever pocket you want to keep it in. Overall, a great face mask to keep your face warm during cold and/ or windy weather.

Years ago I bought the Msque in a medium size for riding dirt-bikes in cold/snow. Super warm. Actually it'll burn you up. It was very tight around the back of my head where it velcros together. So, I bought this large one. It has the same warmth and seems to be made just like the one I bought 14 years ago. It got 4 stars instead of 5 because the large size didn't make it larger where I needed it ( velco closure in the back ). It made the face part higher up on my cheeks where its almost too high Being almost to the bottom of my eyes. I no longer have my dirt-bike but my job has me outside alot in the winter. Co-workers laugh at me alot for wearing this, BUT, They're face is cold & mine isn't.

I would give this six stars if I could. Wish I would've bought it sooner. This is warm yet very breathable. As long as I make sure the nose part is snug against the top of my nose and the lip part is firm and snug against the upper lip, all breathing air exits without going back into the mask. If I don't center that nose opening correctly then air will go into the cheeks of the mask and be pushed up under my glasses creating fog. It took me just one walk to work to figure that out, and since then it's been golden. I needed this mask because I have a 30 minute walk each way to my office from the train every morning. In the winter, this is in sub degree windchill temperatures. This mask protects my face, and stopped my nose from running and my eyes from tearing from the biting cold. I wear a medium size hat. And so I got the medium size mask. It's a perfect snug fit. Comfortable, can breathe through nose and mouth equally, with no fogging to my glasses.

I ride my Yamaha PWC in cool and cold weather in NJ. This neoprene face mask keeps my face and neck warm from water spray while riding. I have a couple medium sized masks and a large size mask. The large is the size that covers my face comfortably and stays fastened. The medium sizes are a little snug and the Velcro loosens occasionally. I also used these in the past for snow skiing and they worked well. Great piece of gear to have. I also used these masks when we did snow plowing and snow removal on walkways on the job. As I write, I realize I've gotten my money's worth and will purchase an additional large size mask.

Downhill VT skier and I've been using an Original Masque for many years, but it was finally wearing out. Tried other versions - thicker neoprene and fleece lined - but didn't like them. This Original is the thinner neoprene and perfect for me down to ~zero F with googles. They allow free breathing, don't freeze on your face, and retain minimal moisture (which can be easily wiped off on a pant leg). Original Masque and good goggles are my go to for skiing and really cold winter outdoor activities.

Cheap and thin material

Material is very thin and not much insulation value. Pretty cheaply made. I used to have one that was MUCH better, but can't find it again. Don't bother, buy a scarf

The mask is fairly effective at blocking wind; it had enough holes to allow easy breathing when you're breathing hard. Assuming you're not wearing any other face masks and it fits properly, no air is directed towards glasses you may be wearing. It's a good mask, but I find that I prefer a fabric covering without any holes; such keeps my face warmer, but I am at higher risk of fogged-up-glasses.
